About me: I'm Scottish, male, usually unemployed, mostly easy going, a cat lover, occassional writer and a complete slave to my various passions, interests and obsessions. Back in my younger days I was involved in the amatuer theatre arts scene in East Kilbride, which I enjoyed a lot at the time.
Two things that I need to state to people upfront:
a) I am anti-religious and often given to scornful remarks and angry rants at the powerful theocracies and persistent superstitions of the world. I try to hate the religion, love the religioner but it's not always easy. I know for a fact that there is no good force out there answering anyone's prayers and I hope people will respect my wishes to keep their beliefs to themselves. Rightly or wrongly, all talk of religion and belief in some kind of all loving deity out there hurts me more than I can adequately convey. To the people who still believe that kind of thing, I hope if you get a awakening to reality, that it is in less painful circumstances than my own.
b) I am a passionate and unapologetic Paris Hilton fan. I admire Paris, I love Paris, I enjoy Paris's work, I thrill to Paris's lifestyle. Paris has brought me a lot of joy and welcome distraction when I could have been depressed and no criticism or attacks on her will be permitted in my journal. Paris is the sunshine in my life. Paris haters are the scum of the earth and are just sad, insecure people with nothing positive to contribute!
