Independent Record Company owned by Reggae Hip Hop Giant Sleepy Wonder, No Choice Records was founded in 1995 In New York City by Sleepy Wonder after being released from the majors, he decided to do it himself because he litterally had (NO CHOICE).
No Choice Records released strings of hits from Sleepy Wonder, and landed distribution deals from VP Records USA and 24x7 Records /JVC Entertainment Japan.
Sleepy went further and built a full recording studio and started producing himself and Shinehead amoung others he signed to his production company.
In 1999 Sleepy Wonder's Album "One Night Of Pleasure" was released in Japan on 24x7 Records and was Rated the Number ..1 Crossover Album of the year, while Shinehead's "Praises" Album was released on VP Records with hit singles Collie Weed & Olivia produced by Sleepy Wonder & Shinehead

Sleepy is currently signed with Thievery Corporation on ESL Music, but spends most of his time producing artists he plans on releasing on No Choice Records in the near future.
Sleepy Wonder is currently working on a Dub/Electronica project. There is no release date set for the project as yet. Everyone at No Choice and ESL Music is excited to see/hear the final production of the project. No Choice Is a Company without any major Corporation support, we are completly independent. No Choice recently inked a Distribution Deal with BUG MUSIC, and Sleepy is getting ready to release all his independent project through this loop hole. Sleepy produces artists with different genre's of music ranging from Gospel/Reggae/Rap/Alternative/Dub and Grass Roots Reggae, in other words No Choice is fully loaded with a growing catalog. At The VRA Awards In Virginia May 10th 2008, Sleepy Wonder walked away with the PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AWARD. This is a huge Accomplishment for the Artist/CEO Of No Choice Music Group.
Sleepy Wonder Recorded Two tracks on the new THIEVERY CORPORATION ALBUM, (RADIO RETALIATION) and (SOUND THE ALARM). Radio Retaliation is already a hit on the BILLBOARD CHARTS, AND IT DEBUTED 1 ON THE ELECTRONIC CHARTS, 1 ON THE GREECE TOP 100 CHARTS.
Sleepy Wonder also recorded two track on FORT KNOX FIVES RADIO FREE DC ALBUM, on Fort Knox Five Recordings. Track tittles are, THE WONDER STRIKES AGAIN, AND SOUND BOY KILLA FEATURING ZEEBO FROM SEE I.
The album is set to be released November 10th 2008, but its at the top of the charts on digital downloads on itunes before its release date.
No Choice Music Group Is In The Transition from just a Record Label, to a Record Company with Distributions. we hired a staff, with the know how to take Sleepy's Label to major label status. For now we are recording in the studio, and building up our catalog, getting our Artist ready for Press and Publications. The Next Time No Choice releases a project, it will be charted, and adds taken out with major Publications to promote and establish our Artists!
