New Jersey's NO CODE has assumed a place among the premier tribute bands in America by drawing inspiration from one of the most musically influential, socially relevant, and commercially successful artists of the modern rock era: Pearl Jam. Since forming in 2003, these hardcore fans of the Seattle band have consistently demonstrated skilled musicianship, raw passion, and extensive knowledge of their source material.
Pearl Jam fanatics (or "Jammers," or "Jamily") evoke a degree of dedication characteristic of the traveling Deadheads of generations past. The community has developed a strong presence on the Web, where a sizable number of Pearl Jam enthusiasts have hailed NO CODE as the finest reproduction of the genuine article. The reviews are based on the band's frequent concert appearances, live MP3s, and special radio broadcasts (unsolicited airplay on "The Booker Show," 92.3 K-Rock New York City, followed by multiple invitations from Booker himself to perform live in the K-Rock studio; airplay on XM's "Opie and Anthony Show"). The buzz has contributed to NO CODE's rising popularity, as the band regularly receives requests to play various parts of the country.
While delivering substantial crowds to music clubs throughout the Northeast, NO CODE has proven the ability to replicate the sound and energy of a live Pearl Jam concert, from the first classic guitar riff to the final encore. The band aims to consistently present memorable shows, broaden its support base, and elevate its name recognition. To the interested venue representative, booking agent or promoter, NO CODE offers a widely recognizable song catalog, a highly charged atmosphere, and -- through a cooperative marketing strategy -- an exceptional audience turnout.
