(d), the big ham (v) ...chris, joe & big truck are in a band called king of birds, total jersey city beer fueled rock n roll check them out...lyle is in san fransico doing his thing and apparently doing a band with todd (frontman of fullfledged, in my opinion f.f. recorded the best hardcore punk demo ever!) i would assume it would be pot and rock fueled.... ben and his two warzone tattoos are in japan teaching engrish...pauls got a new very melodic dc influenced banded called "end game" check them out they are hot...me jesse a./aka the big ham, i am doing open wound(s)/die laughing/adult crash or whatever we end up calling it, but would still love to put together an integrity tribute band!

one, two, one, two, one, two fuck you(1996-2000) i will write a good story someday, it'll be stupidly long winded and none of you will care, cause most of ya' have heard it all before. this page right here exists so some kids can here a band that i feel fell through the cracks, as egotistical as that may sound. somewhere around october of 1995 with chris civello and myself were looking to do a HARDCORE PUNK BAND, something like pissed off, loud, furious and not pussy/gay/weak in anyway shape of form. (if you have a problem with that, its the truth and i ain't going to change it, even if it isn't the way i think now) most bands around at the time sucked, and not just sucked but sucked really big dirty donkey dick. so we eventually got shit rolling and playin nyc skinhead styleeeee hardcore at time when it was laughed at! not a good move if you want to make ends meet, put out records and have fun playing shows. we were the ignored, we were the dismissed, we were the hated and we never gave a fuck!!! there were a bunch of assholes responsible for no contest being the band that it was, i owe most of those dudes many many many a thank you and probably a couple of appologies. it would probably be way too little and just a fucking 1/2 a lifetime to late, so we won't go there. we defiantly played where ever we could, a big FUCK YOU, right in the face of everything we thought sucked about life. i can't say i was ever happy with the way no contest worked as a band. i wanted more input from the other dudes, but i guess i really only wanted them to follow my lead and not really express who they were or how they actually wanted to rock. there wasn't enough (as much as i hate to use this petty word) commitment!!! i was never happy with how our recordings sounded or how the final packages looked. this band was pretty much the 1st "real deal" band any of us had done, and i guess the sound & art show the immaturity. in the end lyle wanted to be an indie rocker, pothead, college kid (and theres nothing wrong with it, he grew up changed a little, for christ sake i think he was 14 the 1st time he jammed with us), chris and joe wanted to be metal as fuck (considering they are both total shredders hardcore punk just wasn't letting them use their full potential) , ben wanted to fuck his girlfriends brains out in illianois and become a pilot (though he moved there eventually broke up with her and learned enough japanese to move to japan and teach engrish) and i was left wondering, after 4 years, why was i still so fucking pissed and who was i pissed at and in general what was wrong with me??? chris and i had written most of the lp by the time we played our last show (gordon solie motherfuckers, 9 shocks terror, boulder, no regrets 331 sommerser st. new bruns nj...what you don't remember it???oh yeah only 10 kids paid to get in! by the way fuck new brunswick) but lyle really wasn't down, we never showed paul most of the songs and i don't think joe was playing with us anymore at this point & most importantly chris wanted so little to do with "the scene" that it would be impossible to keep the band together. so chris and myself decided to record the entire full-length with just the two of us! for shits and giggle right??? chris played all the instruments and i did my best to write the most coherent hate everyone and everything lyrics that i could. we had a label willing to put it out, needless to say, once they found out, we weren't really a band anymore they abandoned the record (which i can't hold against them). we started recording in may of 1999 i believe and didn't finish it up well into 2002. it was only 10 fucking songs for crying out loud, we only recorded 1/2 of the shit we planned on doing. in the end we were complete failures. not that i ever expected to be anything else. check out the songs, let me know what you think. oh and as far as what i think of the current "hardcore revival" shit...
