BAND BIOGRAPHY

2004: Nocturnal Graves emerge with the first line up in January:

J.: Guitars & Vox, R.: Thunderbass, S.R.: Drums.

Demo 1 recorded May '04, Demo 2 Recorded July '04. First gig in August '04.

2005: Gigs in Melbourne, Bendigo and Brisbane Australia take place early in the new year. S.R. leaves the band. "Necromancer" pic 7"EP recorded June '05 as a 2 piece with J. handling drums, vox and guitar duties respectively, R. on Bass. New tracks under construction for rest of 2005. Nocturnal Graves sign with Nuclear War Now! Productions...

2006: More line up changes. The album tracks are written and waiting to be banned on tape. Deathstrike Records offer to release the "Necromancer" pic 7"EP and Iron Bonehead Productions offer to release another 7"EP. J. leaves for Europe with Zemial as bassist for their European tour. The "Necromancer" Pic 7"EP is released in October by Deathstrike Records. The band come to an agreement for a split LP with a new label storming out of the cold woods of Finland.

2007: Early nights of 2007 see the "Satan's Cross" LP recorded followed by an Australian tour with Danish Black Horror Metal ghouls Denial of God. Late 2007 Nuclear War Now! Productions release "Satan's Cross" on LP/Pic LP. Hexx deciding to focus more energy towards his own band Trench Hell is no longer a member of Nocturnal Graves thus closing the chapter of 2007, a triumphant years end forged in Blood and Fire!!!

2008: 2008 will see the release of "Satan's Cross" on CD, t-shirts celebrating the album will also be released by Nuclear War Now! Forthcoming releases are: "The Grave Spirit Sessions" split LP with Finland's Hellspirit via Storming Death Music & "The Macabre Darkness" 7"EP via Iron Bonehead Productions. Recordings will take place in the next few months before work on the next album.

2009: Early 2009 4 new tracks recorded for "The Gravespirit Sessions" Split LP (with Hellpsirit) - soon to be released via Nuclear War Now Productions. "The Macabre Darkness" 3 x 7"EP boxset scheduled for late 2009 via Iron Bonehead, to coincide with 1st European shows at the Nuclear War Now Festival (Berlin, GER) and subsequent mini-tour with US Warmongers Ares Kingdom. More details coming soon.
