FLOGGING MOLLY, The Faint, My Chemical Romance <3, Abney Park <3, MALICE MIZER <3 <3 <3 Those are the only four bands that I have really attached myself to as far as being a complete fan. Other music...punk, gothic, rock in general, electronica, techno and trance, Irish punk, J-rock, J-pop, musicals, Celtic traditional music, I like a little of everything except rap. Some specific bands would be The Cruxshadows (awesome at Dracula's Ball), London After Midnight, HIM, Voltaire (also awesome at Dracula's Ball), AC/DC (Will this is all your fault), Hot Hot Heat, The Killers, Jet, DJ Sammy, VNV Nation, Franz Ferdinand, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Stabbing Westward, Lostprophets, The Juliana Theory(1st cd), Phantom of the Opera, Rocky Horror, Mamma Mia, Malice Mizer! (I know I said it before but I love my gothic Japanese drag queens... shut up >.< ), Gackt, Utada Hikaru, Queen, and uh, I'll list more later if I think of some. Oh, random anime music!! Part of this summer is exploring new music, any recommendations?

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!! since I am both a Tim Burton and Johnny Depp fan. Looking forward to Corpse Bride and hopefully MirrorMask!! <3 <3 Neil Gaiman!!
In addition to movies, I love going to the theatre to see plays and ballets. My parernts have been taking me to the Old Globe for as long as I can remember. I also love my high school's theatre. Many of my friends were actors and actresses, but I prefer to be backstage, in the wings, or down in the theatre basement myself. I loved helping with costumes and hope to continue that in college... maybe with an internship... a career? *drifts off into dream-land*
Oh uh, sorry 'bout that. Anyway, I love all the Shakespeare plays that both theatres put on, all the musicals that my high school did, especially Guys and Dolls. Some other plays I like: The Laramie(sp?) Project, Pentacost, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Smash, Moonlight and Magnolias, there are so many that I can't remember the names of... I really like plays that are done in the Cassius(sp?) small circle theatre.
I love going to the ballet as well. I will always love and have a soft spot for the Nutcracker, after dancing in it for so many years, but I also think that Swan Lake is absolutely beautiful. You are Irina Dvorovenko!
You rock! You're arms are perfect and your leaps
are amazing. You're a very beautiful graceful
and versatile dancer. You are the ideal
Odette/Odile!
don't really watch it much. I like Cartoon Network though (Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy!), Family Guy, and any good anime that I can find. Hellsing, Ruroni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Chobits, Angel Sanctuary, Gundam Wing, Serial Experiments Lain, Trigun, Witch Hunter Robin, and so many others. I LOVE the Turner Classic Movie Channel, Monk, Nero Wolf, Agatha Christie mysteries, and that's all that I can think of right now. Oh, and the Apprentice! The only reality tv show that I will ever watch - it actually does something productive and tests real skills. And I refuse to watch MTV. You would have to restrain me Clockwork Orange style to get me to pay attention.
Books
Sandman/The Endless comics!!! I also LOVE Poe, Shakespeare, and Virgil's "Aeneid" (in Latin, English is stupid, and ugly by comparison). I don't have a favorite Shakespeare play really, although I'm very fond of "Hamlet", "King Henry IV part I", "Macbeth", and "Romeo and Juliet". Don't you just love a good tragedy? Aaand I kind of fell in love with Prince Hal from "Henry IV" ^.^;; oops. Read it. My favorite Poe stories/poems are "The Masque of the Red Death" (horray for danse macabres!), "Dream-Land", "Annabel Lee", "The Bells", "Shadow-A Parable", "The Fall of the House of Usher" especially "The Haunted Palace" ballad in it, "Hop-Frog", "The Premature Burial", "The Angel of the Odd", "To Ulalume" (spelling??), and others. "The Raven" is nice, but I like some of his other poems better. I think everyone should read a GOOD translation of the "Aeneid". It is the most awesome piece of writing in existence in my opinion. It's even more amazingly beautiful in Latin. The dactylic hexameter, the choice of words creating the effect of being able to hear the sound of the action rather than just a description, and the other poetic devices completely blow my mind. Then there is the actual story. I don't want to give anything away because hopefully you will READ IT. I could read it over and over and never tire of it. Gods, its amazing. Endless gratitude to my Latin teacher for bringing it to life for me!!! They aren't books, but I love manga. Especially Hellsing, Angel Sanctuary, Doll, Tarot Cafe, Bizenghast, etc. Right now, when I have time, I'm reading "Dubliners" by James Joyce, I love his story "The Dead" and I saw the house in Dublin where it was supposed to take place, the poetry of T.S. Eliot, and hopefully I'll be able to start "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Wilde too. There are so many books/authors/poets that I wish I had time to read. I'd love to read the original Phantom of the Opera (in translation), Dumas, Byron, William Blake, Dante, La Morte d'Arthur (spelling??), and if I could get my hands on it, the first account of the battle at Thermopylae, a good translation of The Iliad, more Jane Austin, Shelley, Keats, I love the poem Thanatopsis but can't remember the poet off the top of my head, I'll probably think of more later... oh, and if you haven't guessed already, I love Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland and I'm dying to read Through the Looking Glass.
Heroes
My Uncle John... Requiescat In Pace...
To me the sun is just a reflection of your smile from above. I'll never forget your strength, even to the last. I love you.
My parents, they've given me so much and put up with so much haha.

These are my gods. This is my catechism. Bow down bitches.
I would post another video so you could see my gods of fashion and music performing one of my favorite songs but... hehe... that would be Malice Mizer's Illuminati... so I'll just link to it instead ^.~
Hey, at least its the LIVE version, not quite as brutal. And that's a nice pieta toward the end. I love how Mana transitions from ahem fan-service to Jesus so smoothly. Enjoy!
If you actually want to read shit about me, scroll down past all the ridiculous procrastination devices... I mean quizzes, and there in the little scrolly box you will see random ramblings about what I like to do, what I'm doing with my life right now, and what I plan to do in the future. If you actually want to know who I am however, you would have to talk to me. My newest favorite word is stecoreus... I hope I spelled that right
You are the Undying Artist. Moody, erratic, and empassioned, you find art in the darkness. You cultivate dark beauty and dark artists to surround yourself and drink of the song in their blood.
Take the quiz: "What Kind Of Morbid Are You?(Pics+Plz Rate)" Cute Morbid You seem sweet and innocent on the outside. But you're sick n' twisted inside that head of yours and you know it.

"Your personality often has two sides. You
have no trouble taking things in stride, but
you like a peaceful balance in your life. You
have a lot of creativity, especially when it
comes to the written word. You are a great
communicator and are very open to new ideas.
You also have a strong desire to learn."
No one should ever ask me to describe myself briefly, or list my favorites. This is what happens... I write more than you want to know. When you get sick of me, stop reading.
I love all things elegant and Macabre. I like designing and sewing my own corsets. I'm strange, and I like it that way. I love corsets and all things related to corsetry (fully-boned only please... unless its double-boned :o ). I spent the large majority of my first pay check on a new underbust corset that I love to death, and have since invested in two more custom underbusts and the Madame overbust that was passed down to me. I'm not exactly training for a corset, although the corset guy at con thought I was... maybe I'll look into it, maybe I won't. I'd also like to look into a corset piercing buuuut that won't be for a while. I love Victorian clothing in general and am currently working on also designing and sewing my own bustle skirts. In case you couldn't tell by the layout, I'm also rather fond of the Steampunk genre of... well, everything. In addition to sewing I am now the Loving Madame Director of my college's RHPS and one of three Co-Heads of Athena's Circle, the on-campus Pagan group.
I also have a feline little brother. I love my kitty. We've grown up together and he's gotten me through a lot with his silent comforting looks and cuddling. He's a bit ferocious and quite the hunter, though he's beginning to calm down a little. I love him so much, and I miss him endlessly when I'm away at college.
I'm a devoted fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'm on my college's cast (As Magenta, Rocky, and Riff), will be directing for the second semester in a row for Fall '08, and go as often as I can when I'm home.
In case you didn't notice the link above, yes I'm a crazed cosplayer that enjoys dressing up as things such as goddesses, angels who fight god, anderoids, queens, vampires, and the like. I sew all my own costumes, and I do commissions for friends. If you want one, get all the info to me FAR IN ADVANCE, or else I will want to kill you the whole time I'm working on your piece, and that is never a good thing. I regularly cosplay to Anime Expo, Comic Con, random tea parties, and various events and parties at my college.
I don't notice the passage of time. I have a tendency to keep people at a distance, and I'm sorry if that bothers you, I'm trying to be better. My Beloved is a wonderful man who I hope to spent many more happy times with. He is supportive, handsome, a fantastic boyfriend though he will never admit it, and most of all a great friend who I love adventuring through life with. Koala!
I love to draw, write, and paint. I also love dead languages and alphabets. Runes, Hieroglyphics, Hieratic, Latin (Classical and Medieval). I would love to learn Classical Greek and Sanskrit. Oh and Irish Gaelic too, even if it isn't a dead language. I love the challenge of drawing portraits - so watch out or I just might steal your face.
I play White Wolf role playing games. Mage, Vampire: the Masquerade, currently learning Vampire: Requiem and Werewolf: the Apocolypse. Honestly I'm still learning all of them, I'm not very good yet. I'll be playing in one Black Fury table top game on my college campus, staffing an on campus mixed-genre LARP, as well as going with those same friends to a LARP close by as a Silent Strider, a Get of Fenris, and an Eshu. Hopefully I'll learn my shit a little bit better lol.
I love to dance. I danced ballet for 12 years and miss it dearly. I took modern in high school and a little Irish step dancing in college. However, my main extra curricular activity is archery, which I absolutely love. I collect swords, daggers, and other weaponry. I would love to get a glaive some day, but I haven't found one yet. And probably couldn't afford it anyway. I used to train in staff and and a little shinai with my Dad, one of the sensei at the dojo that he and his friends run, and still sometimes do when I'm home. I also love archery (enough to mention it twice ^.~ ). Other than these things I don't really like sports. Unless you count badminton and croquet.
I'm in college right now at Bryn Mawr (PA). I'm a Classical Studies major with a concentration in Greco-Roman religion. I'm forever greatful to my love for supporting me in all my crazy dreams. He encourages me and takes care of me - I feel stronger when I'm with him. Thank you love ^.^ You're amazing.
Right now I work at Aaron Brothers and sew costumes on commission for friends. Some day I'd like to have my own clothing design business for Medieval/ Renaissance/ Fantasy garb, EGL/ EGA, neo-gothic, and Victorian clothing. Along with costumes for special events and cosplayers by commission. I'd love to be a vendor at Ren Faires, SCA events, and Comic-con/ AX etc. ... but for now I'm still dreaming. Perhaps I could be a Professor as well. I'd love to be a dramateur for historical plays and movies like my Shakespeare teacher in high school was.
Who I'd like to meet: Prince Hal (Henry V), Hugues de Payens, Pope Gregory VII, Gerard Way (Warped Tour was great) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Johnny Depp <3 <3 <3 Mana from Malice Mizer <3 <3 <3 actually anyone from Malice Mizer. Charon and Tisiphone, except that I'd have to be dead...meh. Voltaire...old and new. I'll think of more later...
If you recognize where I took the picture that is my background, or the background for my blog, then I'd like to meet you
Azrael You are Azrael, Death's Bright Angel, the Angel of Death. You write in your book of names all who are born, and when they die, if they are destined for heaven, circle their name in light. If they are damned, you circle it in darkness. Your element is Spirit, your colors are Grey and Black, and your direction is upwards.
waaagh you're having piercing problems? :( oh well, we can either pad it with gauze or just forgo the corsets in favor of something skimpier or flowy-er?
Awwwww, thanks hun! I was just pleased everything turned out so well. The goth look doesn't usually work on me, but I got lucky. The rest of the outfit was a gray/black/burgundy, raggedy pirate wench outfit, fishnets, and high heeled leather boots. Oodles-o-fun. Those are the Helene hair falls I made myself; very pleased with them. Still working on yours; I have one of the two done, but I'm not entirely satisfied with it, so it may take a while yet. MWAH!
After Rocky at the dennys! "You...You listen to Flogging Molly??!??! I'm gonna go have a cigarette...AND YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!!!" *much singing and joyfulness*
