Curitiba has always been one of the greatest Brazilian stages for Metal. Several bands from Curitiba have reached national notoriety, including some great Doom Metal bands. Wishing to continue this excellent work, Nocturnus Chorus has born, initially named Angel’s Pain.
After a while, Angel’s Pain changed its name to Nocturnus Chorus, but this was a clogged period, when many musicians joined and quited the band. We have reached a formation with Robert Sorrowlander and Larissa Wendling on vocals, Dana Glam and Marcelo Wolfman on guitar, Lord Enzo on bass and Sid Warior on drums.
By the end of 2006, we started the recording of several covers, including December Elegy and Tender Trip on Earth from Tristania, Venus from Theatre of Tragedy, Gothic and Say Just Words from Paradise Lost and Nymphetamine from Cradle of Filth.
During 2007 Nocturnus Chorus have been working on our own compositions, some of them are already being recorded. Hide Us is the first one being released on my space, announcing the things that are soon to come...

Curitiba sempre foi um dos maiores palcos da cena brasileira de metal. Muitas bandas curitibanas já alcançaram notoriedade nacional, incluindo algumas ótimas bandas de Doom Metal. Desejando continuar esse trabalho excelente surgiu a Nocturnus Chorus, inicialmente chamada de Angel's Pain.
A Angel's Pain mudou seu nome para Nocturnus Chorus depois de um tempo, durante um período conturbado no qual muitos músicos juntaram-se e saíram da banda. Nós nos estabilizamos numa formação com Robert Sorrowlander e Larissa Wendling nos vocais, Dana Glam e Marcelo Wolfman nas guitarras, Lord Enzo no baixo e Sid Warrior na bateria.
