Played and studied with Tal Farlow, Barney Wilen, Chet Baker, Philip Catherine, John Abercrombie, Pierre Cullaz, Al Leavit, René Urtreger, Dave Liebman and others. During the late 80' s and Mid 90' played Jazz regularly in the bands of Henri Texier, Louis Sclavis, Daniel Humair, Jacques Thollot, Sam Rivers, Wolfgang Puschnig, Dominique Pifarély, Michel Portal while also experimenting in Free Funk group Trash Corporation with Dom Farkas, Erick Borelva, Disco Minck or the acoustic trio The Recyclers with Steve Argüelles, Benoit Delbecq ( with singer Corin Curschellas ). Moving in the mid 90's towards free improvised music and other experimental forms with the like of Derek Bailey, Eugene Chadbourne, Fred Frith, Evan Parker, Lol Coxhill, Tim Berne or George Lewis. Founder of the Label "Rectangle" with Quentin Rollet where he produced artists such as Philippe Katerine, Red, David Grubbs, Jean- François Pauvros, Akosh S., Erik M., Charlie O., Sasha Andrès, Igantus, or a triple album of interview with the film-makers Jean-Marie Straub & Danièle Huillet. Currently writing in magazines such as Jazz Magazine, Skug, Cahiers du Cinéma, Studio Voice and many others. Collaborating and acting in the various films of Thierry Jousse, John B.Root, he also worked since then with Luc Ferrari, David Sylvian, Jim G. Thirlwell, John Giorno, Han Bennink, Kevin Blechdom, Jean-Louis Costes, Joey Baron, Steven Bernstein, Fred Pallem, Max Nagl, Andrew Sharpley, Dylan Carson' s Earth. Producing various audio films for the Münich label Winter & Winter and currently working on an ongoing serie of solos ( Alike Joseph, So Lucky, Adult Guitar or Eagle ). Working at the moment on various projects with his DJ brother SebastiAn ( Ed Banger ).
