Born December 22, in the beautiful island of Antigua, Noel Browne is a singer, songwriter and musician. His immediate musical influence is his family since his mother, father and siblings play and active part in Antigua’s vibrant musical community.
He embarked on his musical career at the age of 19 and has become well known for captivating and tantalizing his audiences with his sweet, sensual, seductive voice. A unique artiste indeed, Noel is versatile yet consistent in his performances. His musical entourage ranges from soca and reggae to hip-hop and R&B. He is a former vocalist of the LA Crew Band of Antigua, Carl Jacob’s Island Jam as well as a former performer in cabaret shows on Celebrity Cruises. Moreover, he has performed alongside artistes such as TC, Rupee, The Mighty Shadow, Onyan and the Burning Flames, Edwin Yearwood and Crossfire, Da Bhann, Roger George, Caryl(Trini)Jacobs, Benji, Giselle the Wassi One, Nigel Lewis, Alison Hinds and many others.
Although a renowned vocalist, Noel is a talented musician that enjoys playing pan, drums and the keyboard. When he is not on stage or in the recording studio, he enjoys biking, soccer, basketball, steel pan, movies, stand up comedy and engaging in heated constructive discussions on political social and global issues. Noel now resides in Miami, Florida. He is currently working on original projects for his album and with South Florida’s hottest soca sensation, Code 868 which would be released soon. He has participated in the 2004 Antigua and Barbuda party monarch semi-finals. He also along with his own enterage of musicians, had his first solo show for the Calgary Canada West Indian festival, Carifest, in June 2004, of which the performance was an ultimate success. He has released three beautiful, melodious soca tracks, entitled Inches of Rain and Jouvert Jam, written by himself and produced by Ronald (Brian) Fontenelle and himself, and Addicted to you, written by Wendel Boynes. So keep a listening ear on the airwaves for his music. Noel says that he feels at home where self is forgotten and the shared passion for music is unveiled. He has worked with producer/keyboardist, Kenly Franklin to create a beautiful melodious soca song called "Anything for You" which he perfomed with Turks and Caicos' very own Miss Tifffany Thomas. This song took the airwaves by storm and is a well loved song in many countries including Trinidad, St Lucia, Antigua, Turks and Caicos, USA and Canada. His Band (Tribal Love) and entertainment company (Caribbean Music Farm) has been satisfying the hearts and souls of many in Florida and Georgia with a variety of musical entertainment. In December 2006, Noel, Tiffany and his band were invited to perform along side Claudette Peters (who sings "Something got a hold on me") in the Turk and Caicos Islands for the Salt Cay Annual Jamboree 2006/2007. Their performance was a dymanite sucess and they were asked to return for several future shows in 2007. In 2006, Noel was also invited to perform with St Lucia's ..1 soca band "VERT-X" for their annual carnival celebrations. He was asked by Derrick Yard (keyboardist/ lead vocalist of Vert-X) to re-recorded the road march hit, "My Pressure Up" with the band. This was widely appreciated in St Lucia and neighboring islands. Unlimited thanks and love to Vert-X Band and the people of St Lucia for their love and respect. An enthusiastic Noel sends out ‘nuff love and respect to all fans and supporters of good talent and artistry. He has plans to perform at many of the carnival and cultural festivals in the US and Canada as he has been doing in the past.
