About me:
I am a local music and entertainment "magazine" created in
1995 and first published in March 1996 by editor/creator/
writer Chris Beyond as a means of promoting all the cool
bands in the Silverlake/Los Angeles/Southbay area that were
getting little to no airplay. Since then we have expanded our
reach all over the world with the web version of the magazine and our most popular section of the site; No-Fi "Radio" - a weekly internet "radio" show where we actually play the music that we write about. We've interviewed celebrities (Mr. T,
Bruce Campbell, & more) and bigger bands (Devo, Fishbone, &
more), but our focus will always be on nice people in up-and-
coming independent bands.
We also book shows in the L.A./
Silverlake area every once in a while so come to ..em and
introduce yourself! You can check out our websites at:
No-Fi "Magazine": http://www.nofimagazine.com and No-Fi
"Radio": http://www.nofiradio.com. And don't forget to e-mail No-Fi "Radio" with requests and/or to introduces us to yourself or your band. You never know when we might ask you to be our guest on the show whether you're in a band or not.

Bored in Los Angeles?
Check out our current No-Fi "Magazine" Concert Calendar to see who is playing where!
Want to be on one of our covers or model in the magazine?
We have created a Myspace group just for models who would like to work with us. It has been a great way to keep in contact with people who would like to grace our covers or be photographed by Chris Beyond for your own site or portfolio. E-mail us to let us know that you're interested and we'll send you an invite!
