Inspired mainly by the late 80's and early 90's, Thomas decided to start to play the guitar. After a certain injury suffered during a certain miscommunication Thomas got it through his head that he would start writing music. Samuel (bass) was in another band at the time with David Fuxa (drums). In the winter of 2005 No Heroes formed with Thomas Klika (vox, guitar), Samuel Klika (bass) David Fuxa (drums) Karel Kreisinger (guitar).
The new band played their first gig at a music show in Beroun called the Hudebni Mazec in April 2005. Petr Tichy (keys) joined the band shortly after that.
Drug was the first demo record the band did after 3 months of playing together, recorded at a local private Beroun studio. After that the band was invited to Poland to play at their first festival in summer of 2005.
December 2005 marked the date of the 2nd demo by No Heroes, this time the band went to a professional studio in Prague (ChicSound Studios). After the release of the new demo the band competed in the annual Rock Café Contest 2006 and went to win the contest in January.
Summer of 2006 proved to be very rewarding; No Heroes with their first interview in the music magazine Rock and Pop, and taking part of big summer festivals around the country.
Fall 2006 no heroes went on to win the 13th annual RockFest Dobris, placed 1st in the Wave Starter Charts with Snowglobe, and in January 2007 won the RockCafe Contest they had started in February 2006. Shortly afterwards they recorded their first single CD at Chic Studios once again.
