Videos featured in the Edinburgh performance. "Confession Number 3" " Alone " and "The Dream Dreams You" Created for Nohno by Lorraine Butler: Lies Per Second
=============
Nohno is the creation of Dean Dennis & Snook and began in 2004/2005.
Not wanting to be restricted by tags & boxes or pigeon-holed we produce abstract electronica, atmospheric grooves & broken down beats.
Sound tracks for your disjointed dreams.
We made our first public performance as Nohno in Edinburgh with Asmorod & Irezumi. American Independence Day July 2008
Nohno’s first release made its appearance in 2006.
Metropolis Review: Connexion Bizarre
"Nohno is the most recent creative outpouring from Dean Dennis, a name associated with early electronic and industrial music purveyors Clock DVA. Known for their emphasis of man-machine interfaces and history of musique concrete techniques, it is not surprising that Nohno is an enlightened descendant of these roots (and by extrapolation, the applied Kraftwerkian foundations). Found within "Metropolis" is a likely fusion of old-school industrial electronics and experimental jazz, wrapped in the unassuming guise of languorous tech-house styles. It is a well-balanced mixture of sharp electronic rhythms, shimmering orchestral accents and spacey abstractions.
............................ the disc enjoys a natural diversity. With this proliferation of sounds, Nohno has sculpted a hybridized dichotomy, deploying cold robotic mechanics hand-in-hand with fertile organics. The resulting "Metropolis" is brimming with its own ingenious offspring,"

HISTORY
If you are interested in music history and want to find out more about Dean’s past then you are welcome to read the Discog. blog
This lists all the releases made with Clock DVA, Sector, and TAGC and also includes other biographical info.
Reading this may also help to clarify any confusion about roles and contributions made to earlier projects. There seems to a little bit of misinformation being spread from some areas.

I repeat: if you are requesting a friend add please send a message.
At least make an effort to appear to be friendly & say "hello". If you are too lazy to do even this then why send a request ?
Also if you are a fascist or a racist please DO NOT request an add - find someone who has the same number of functioning brain cells as yourself.
hey in the meantime i'm already recovering from yesterday ... but hey i will stop together with you, for a couple of days at least , you only just started and you're already counting, that doesn't look too good man on the other hand, it's really great to wake up sober and fresh and without all these clouds hanging around the head, so that's the cool part of course... good luck, those 161 days will be over very quickly...
Remember that good night , with a chinese lunch after...But poor asmorod , I didn't know my liveset time (because all was reconstructed live)...I took too much time from asmorod's liveset...Bad...
hi Dean, I am well and I also hope for you! Here in Sicily, we have beautiful time. I love your musical projects and i add you in my top. stay in touch talk to you soon Alex
So you've had a similar PC predicament to me? Wow! I'm sorry to hear that, Dean. Yours matters more because you actually create things. I just ...errr... shamble around the web!
Hope that you folks are doing well. Work life took over everything for a couple of months for me there.. I organised a conference that was Woody Allen-like in the way that everything technological went wrong. lol ((^_>^) It was a real "machines don't like me" day... from the sound system packing in to a computer swallowing a presentation disk with 15 minutes to start - right over the back of the drive - never seen that before. lol ((^_>^)
Aye, the borders is a nice place. Not too far from me, although I've never been. I'm not a man of the world lol.
We almost had a storm on Friday afternoon but meh, the few cracks of thunder and one flash of lightning were a bit of a disappointment. The rain was good though.
With any luck we'll have more and also have a proper storm as well. I like storms :)
In thoughts of a dear friend... ;)
written for someone very special
can we sit in the dark together
become it's light...
for the power of us could steal from night
and return to the blinding moment sight
we could skip jump and be bold
or we could just sit and each other hold
for a piece of your smile
my thoughts dream and wish to mold
thine eyes hurt from praying so hard
of dancing in you
for in this pen
it's stains laid to paper
is an echo of my every moment you
these leaves of heart smiling in the wind
and thy grass hugs the sun
a breath of you I wish to smile through
the flowers petals
and the clouds you live in
I place with that the beauty of gods hands and angels wings
for in my deafness now sings
and you bring.
I have some great ideas for you guys : Dean makes the music, Quiche Lorraine makes the video, Jose dances half-naked on stage and Manu becames the official remixer of Nohno ! Sounds cool uh ?
The Kiss hello Dean, I listen to Bed time stories alot..reminds me of a time when i got to hospital.. I saw life like a hazy film from a distant land..all events intermingled..what a bed time story that was :) It's an amazing track that describes levels...
