Okay, lemme see, here it goes, okay: Lordane L. Forbes was born a special baby on August 7, 1990 in Brooklyn, NY. His dad left home when he was, lemme see....4 years old, yes. He grew up moving often, from Park Slope Crown Heights to Far Rockaway Queens to Willamsburg, Brooklyn all before the age of 10. Um, "he" (because its not me writing this) finally found a home in the Bed Stuy section of Brooklyn and attended Edward R. Murrow High School, where he did stellarly bad, to say the least.
Being around so many different neighborhoods in his childhood allowed for Lordane to obtain many different blends of unique experiences with different friends amidst the various Brooklyn neighborhoods (now including the Gravesend section of Brooklyn where he got into much mischief, shady situations and people). When Lordane went to Edward R. Murow High School, he had a solid average amongst all his Honor Role classes his Freshman year. His Sophomore year, he started doing what teenagers do: cutting, smoking and rapping. One thing stood out, though, his rapping. Edward R. Murrow High School has a knack for the art and attracts young ambitious artists of all kind such as the likes of rapper Lil Mama, singers "New Sound" and most recently neo-soul artist "Dyme-A-Duzin" as well as others. What people noticed stood out about Lordane, though, was his taking to the uses of blends of poetic lyrics mixed with ebonics mixed with actual words, basically: balance. He was able to sound poetic, street and smart at the same time. Another thing that stood out like a second head on Lordane to people was his knack for having sometimes silly, odd but oddly clever lyrics that were sometimes even subtly "sadistic" ("They" said it, not me, I think that's a bit harsh yo...) without being tackily over the the top or forced; once Lordane was even suspended from school when his school bag was searched and a rap was found in which Lordane goes into graphic detail about carrying out a murder on the school's head dean with words (I was like, "but you gotta admit, its funny though, right?", some people don't know how to appreciate humor yo *Shaking My Head*).
Lordane is an "underground artist", though he'll claim "I'm not "underground" just because I'm on the come up, you know. I'm perfectly "grounded". Can I just be on ground level? Sheesh". He is paired up with Producer Slimbeatz The King a.k.a. DJ Ten, a talented young producer/DJ from the U.K., under the "Ten Stars" Movement. Upon starting actually studio recording, Lordane coined the rapper title "No I.D", reflecting how he was who he was at whatever given time, not one to be identified by means or with anyone for that matter...or, at least, he thought he did until he learned about the same named producer. Shit. However, despite this, he has no intentions of changing his name "Listen, we'll deal with that pothole when we get to it, speaking of which, I need a car. When I get in the industry I'll just explain it to him and ask him to let me rock. Worse comes to worse, I'll just be I.D. on paper and have the "No" part be assumed or I'll be NoID with no dots on paper and still pronounce it "No I.D.", no copyright infringement there, bitch."
No I.D. is featured on the Mixtape titled "Dead Man Walking" in collaboration with fellow up and coming Ten Stars artist "Money Marley", as well as the "Audacity" mixtape. No I.D.'s first anticipated E.P. is scheduled for release in August 2009.........Well, it's been fun doing this with you guys, hope you enjoyed, um, look out for ALL of the No I.D. music, "Cereal Box" is a personal favorite (A result of being bored and nice lolz), seriously though. *Puts on "serious" face because I'm dead ass*. Uh...shout outs. Shout outs to all my fellow Ten Stars artists: Whatup Ten!? Marley whatup!? Aryeh, "In Person" doin big numbers we heard you were comin for NeYo's spot! Um, Ca$htro I see you Omie! Hi No I.D., The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. The expanse of your beauty is a void no universe could ever fill. You breath as delicately as vapors flowing towards an attractive flame. What wonderful vibrations you are capable of. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. Your beauty is multiplexed in contemplation of your multidimensional effervescence.
