[Q] How old are you? [A] Old enough. [Q] Okay then, how long have you been a musician? [A] Seven or eight years... well, I started to actually write my own songs in my early teens. I always knew that I wanted to be a singer & have my own band. Besides the fact that I love singing and writing songs, I know it isn't in me to be someone who works a standard 9 to 5 job for the rest of my life. I need more than that. [Q] Have you performed? [A] It's just me and the computer right now and the computer doesn't like to go out... she is a bit anti-social. However I performed with Everclear 4 yrs. ago. I went to one of their shows and got invited up on stage for their song "Rock Star." I sang along and danced in front of 900 people. It was quite a rush being up there and after the show people were stopping me to tell me how great I was... my 5 minutes of fame is officially over. [Q] Are you looking for members to perform with then? [A] Hell yeah I am! I'm looking for other musicians to just work with. I love putting music together, but without other people I am very limited to what I can do and that gets VERY frustrating for me because I have tons of ideas. I just do what I can, but I am waiting to get some people together so I can get what is locked up inside my head out into the open! [Q] How would you describe your music? And what does "No Ideal Image" stand for? [A] A work in progress. I'm doing what I can with what I've got... a moody computer. I guess I'm just trying to do something different with it also. Anyone can sing along to a drum loop, so I add a lot of layers not only to the music, but the melodys as well. I try to capture the chaos of my mind. Not to many people realize that it is JUST me doing all the dirty work. It can be fun, and other times I am ready to smash my head through the wall. I dunno... If it does not work out, this music thing that is, I will go forward with my photography. [kind of a hobby of mine.] You can see my work at this link: http://17seconds.deviantart.com along with some poetry I write. As far as NII... well, I have always been very inspired by musicians who have a solid fan base because of there talent, not how cool they dress or how pretty they are. I believe it should always be about the talent, and my goal is to shine away from that whole "image is important" shit. If someone likes my music, that's great, If they are just saying that because they think I'm cute they can save it for Brittnay. [END.]

See you for more fatal sex and digitalized violence!
oh, and don't listen to anyone who tells you you should be doing this or that - just do what you think is right. Then, even if it all comes to nothing, at least you'll have done it for you!
When you make music for a living (or try to anyway) there will always be times where you feel cheap. It's sad. It's true.
Mostly though - there is a lot of satisfaction to just doing it well.
