About me:

This is about madness; insanity and anger. This is about horror, murder, and that little thing that takes you over the edge. Fear and disassociation, nurture vs. nature, and what happens if you add or take away one or all of the above. When is insanity better than the alternative? When does love become obsession? When is life punishment? When is death justice? How far will you go?

This is the stuff I write about. This is the stuff of nightmares, hope and a universe with a sick sense of humor.

And at times it's quite funny.

You can read my award winning short story "How Pappy Got Five Acres Back and Calvin Stayed on the Farm" by clicking the link. "Clicking," it's a high tech term.

The first two chapters of my first novel BIPOLAR EXPRESS can be read for free by clicking the title. It's the classic story of Boy meets Girl, Girl dies, Magnetic Poles shift, Boy gets psychiatric diagnosis and a gun.

My pulp novelette "The Gateway Machine" is new to Secret Agent X Vol. II. Read about this classic pulp character in my blog. Really, it's good stuff.

Who I'd like to meet:

An agent. Other writers. Editors. Old friends. Musicians. Radioactive flying monsters.

So Mucinex... I've seen the commercials look all enticing with the phlegmmy family moving around, never thought to use it though.  I think subconciously I knew that the damn stuff was expensive.  25 bucks!  Damn.  I decided to just blow my nose for a few more days.  Hope things are well Mr. Bell.

    C!
Yeah, my parents took me to see Jaws when I was seven (as soon as the 'derr um, derr um' music began I was straight under my mother's coat!).
I never did like the sea after that, but the movie remains one of my favorites!

    Good health & great writing,
    Steve.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I'll be wandering around Inman Park tomorrow in search of Atlanta's most eclectic yard sale. Watch for a tall guy in a lab coat and keep all the Golden Age comics under wraps till I get there.

Just picked up Desolation Angels yesterday. The first two pages put me to sleep. I'll have to make sure not to read it at midnight while laying in bed anymore. :) Seems like it may be a difficult read that ends up being a great story. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Hope things are well B.C.
