We are a small registered non-profit organization (501C3) in Seattle, WA called Noise for the Needy. Our goal is to raise money for charitable causes through the production of live music events. Our group is made up of musicians, promoters, artists, and volunteers. Our efforts have lead to supporting local organizations, increasing awareness of social causes, collaborations with talented artists who want to make a difference, and connecting artists with charities. To date NFTN has raised over 100,000 dollars for local charities in Washington and California.

Once again, Jake Walden has shared something so very
special. Take a moment and watch, listen. Hopefully his music will
touch you in a very special way and you will seek out and embrace all
that he has to give. Once you do, you will know, at that very moment
that he is like no other...
Please share this with
your friends... with love
In Jake’s words ~
“A Case of
You”
"There are few songs that
remain constants for me. This song is for my Mom who's birthday is this
week. A Case of You along with so many Joni songs have been the bridge
between us and helped in growing our friendship throughout my adult
life. Blue, the album this is off of was a seminal piece of work in my
Mom's life, and luckily it became the same for me. There really are no
words to say how much this song means to me, as a writer, a singer and
a hopeless romantic. I find it's meanings to be endless and I hope in
this little moment, in that tiny room with that old microphone I was
able to capture just that.
Hello! I just thought I'd put this out there- the MIX this coming Saturday will be our last show in a great while! A few of us will be on tour with Get Down Moses in September, we are wrapping up the final tracks on the album we've been recording with Eyon Irie, and there is a great deal of new material on our plates that we need to put some time into as well, making just a few public appearances in the fall. So, if you're one who favors moving and grooving, has a propensity for cutting rugs, or you have been known to spontaneously shout 'shake it up, baby!' from time-to-time in public places, feel free to mosey on down to Georgetown this weekend and see is play in the neighborhood that we once called home!
