I started playing in a punk band called Worms at school doing grunge covers and then our own epic rock songs. Line up: Jamie on vocals, Reuben on bass, Mark on drums and me on synth and occasionally guitar. We changed our name to My Septic Eyebrow and did some gigs at school concerts, probably the only band around here to use the word pigfuck in a school assembly. Finally settled on our final name change to The Obsidian Crydown. We played a gig at the Cavern supporting River which went alright and then other gigs in Sandford and the higlight of our career at the Bradninch arts festival. We were young, pretentious and played an hour and a half set when we were supposed to be on for 45 mins but played for an hour and a half including a 5 min synth solo and me clonking myself on the head whilst trying to put Jamie's guitar on. Our band sadly split up after going to uni and one of our members going mad. In the meantime much time was spent at Jake's house enforcing my musical taste on people via the stereo, this is where I first DJ'd in a way. It wasn't until going to uni and having a go on a flatmates decks that I really got in to it. Went out and got some 10p records from the local bargain bin and got spinning some jungle and techno. After moving back to Exeter I DJ'd at quite a few house parties down at Cowley Bridge before spinning out for the first time at Bassache playing some old skool and jungle at the Casbah. The rest will be updated when I get the time. YES! I do too, but I can't breathe, I can't sleep and my head is throbbing....I went to the Pharmacy last night and she hooked me up, so I hope with these meds I can get to feeling better. I am not coming in this afternoon to work. We might actually do that. Send a text my way and remind me, if you don't mind. I'd love to do that! We are SOOO loving our vacation time and love being around people too. the extra money we made from taking those paid surveys online helped out so much!! you should really do them too; i mean, hey, the extra money comes in handy, right? i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:

Hey, hope all is well! Come by the page and check out my newest tunes "Midnight Rush" and "Gamer's Delight" recently added to the player when you get a chance.
"Midnight Rush" has a more Brookes Brothers/Futurebound vibe while "Gamer's Delight" is just full-blown dirty analog bliss. Leave some love if you like what you hear, it's always appreciated. Big up!

Hey monkey you know it's all about the jungle riddims. What ever happened to those skatty breaks, horror samples and wobbly basslines? sigh. P.S. Your gonna have to show me how you get your mixes on line! peace out, Sloofman
I'm glad you're still thinking of me! I'll be back at the start of July. I'll be teaching during the days in the week but we should definitely be able to do something that isn't as rubbish as the original Captain No-Fi session. It's not hard...
