“Turning the National Film Theatre into a riverside club and Tate Britain into a two floor dancefloor music venue indicates just how ambitious the organisers are as they seek to represent the clash and synergy of visuals and electronic music, silent films, live bands and whatever interactive artworks are when they’re not posing on the dancefloor.” Dave Swindells, Time Out (2006).
Selected number one club event of the week by The Times newspaper, Time Out and Guardian Guide.

Movies
With a thank you to the excellent archive and distribution departments of the bfi and NFT, Noise of Art has been privilaged to work with a range of early British cinema, including the works off mitchell & Kenyon and some of the earliest ever shot British film. On the other end of the spectrum we've also pioneered work by up and comming contemporary Britisth, French and German visual artists such Berlin's award winning Andy Leuenberger.
Television
press quotes:
“Celebrating the convergence of visual and audio in the digital age, independent mini festival Noise of Art sails into its winter session with a series of events in relatively close proximity. For example there’s the launch of Cine Lumiere’s Paris At The Movies season at the Institute Francais on Friday and next Thursday they put on an event at the Social with the debut performance of Krazy Baldhead from the Ed Banger label in Paris. But first there’s the party to kick off 2007 at Bar Music Hall in east London, a night of DJs and visuals featuring Lemon Jelly’s Fred Deakin, Sancho Panza’s resident hedonist Matt Brown and Noise of Art founder Ben Osborne. It’s a combination that’s bound to free the crowd from any midweek torpor.”
Nick Green, Guardian, Saturday 27 January, 2007
Books
"If you like your art noisy, unconventional, mixed up with lots of other stuff, and against a whacky backdrop, and your music electronic and unpredictable, then this is one for you. Noise of Art is an umbrella label for a group of talented musicians under the loose leadership of founder Ben Osborne... This gets a very big Londonist thumbs up."
“Sets out to celebrate the convergence of aural and visual art with a spectacular line-up of performances.” The Telegraph.co.uk
“Dancefloor mayhem with a proper line-up of cutting edge electronic music… live bands and DJs playing with films that range from 19th century reality TV, to mechanical biscuit factories and early horror films. Serious beats. Ridiculous fun.” Virtual Festivals.
