7 years ago, singer BORIS BOUMA was touring with his band EPIDEMIC and had reached the Billboard main stream rock charts at 34 with their first single.
Bassist John "TUMOR" Fahnestock had toured the world as a founding member of SNOT and later AMEN, and was now doing the same with LO-PRO.
But when both Elektra and Geffen abandoned their young bands, both found themselves without a musical home.
Boris, having spent the last 10 years in 4 different bands, took a break from music for several years.
Boris never stopped writing music, and with the help of old touring buddy, and now PRONG guitarist, AARON SLIPP, he began recording several songs at his home studio in 2005.
The same year, Boris and John met backstage at a Nine Inch Nails show. Not only had they followed similar paths, they shared a taste for MUSIC and hit it of right away.
After a lengthy search, the picky trio finally found a drummer in TOMMY SICKLES in 2007, formerly of NOTHINGFACE.
In 2008, Noise Within released "Prey for the Zealots", initially as a free download. The 10 track Album is now available through Itunes, Amazon, and mail order from noisewithin.com.
Currently, the band is rehearsing in LA for shows later this summer. Also: Aaron just finished the debut album of his band "Modifed by Man", Tommy just finished the debut album of his band Knives Out, and Boris is contributing to a movie sound track, and writing new NW material. !!!
