Energy and dissonance form the sound of that trio. The compositions impose a style influenced by Jesus Lizard, Sonic Youth, Morphine, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Yo La Tengo, Redneck Manifesto or Girls vs Boys.
After their first cd "tagawa" and a new song presented on the "massacrés belges" compilation, the album "Postrectum" is released in October 2007. The six pieces present a travel between rhythmic and tortuous melodies. The dark and intense atmospheres are in balance with free rises. But the compositions become all their extensive when they are played on stage. Because mute is a band of performance where the improvisation take place in the energy and the sound power.
