Noisy Stylus from Cologne, Germany was founded in 1997 and consists of the four DJs and producers Adlib, Tre Styles, Tobeyer and Dynamike. Noisy Stylus focuses on scratch compositions following the concept of a real live band.
The DJs placed first at the national DMC DJ-Championships in 2001, 2002 and 2003 as well as the German and the European ITF DJ-Championships in 2004. They also placed 2nd at the ITF World-Championships in 2004.
So far they released four break-records as well as their debut album "Table Manners" (the first scratch composed album to come out of Europe, which also got voted "Best scratch-music album of the year 2005" on direct-drive.net) and two 12"-singles, all on Beatz aus der Bude-Records/Groove Attack.
They also contributed various of their productions for international compilations such as "Transmissions" on Asisphonics-Records, "Cuts of Culture" on Turntableradio/Eclectic Breaks Records or Volume V of the legendary "Return of the DJ" series on Bomb Hip Hop-Records.
