Hi and many thanks for the comment - we do not celebrate the 4th of July over here, but i sure do hope you had a great time:). We have fireworks - parties etc., in November on the 5th to celebrate Guy Fawkes - he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament- pity he failed:)). We have large bonfires and a "Guy" placed on the top and we throw potatoes etc., into the fire and when cooked eat them, and of course as it is November we keep warm:).However, this Country has now passed many laws re fireworks and they can only be let off at certain times of the night, also many "Bonfires" are now organsised events. Our next Official holiday is at the end of August. Now you have a great Sunday and enjoy and i really hope you had a great 4th. With Love, Trish, England. x~x.
