First and foremost, being a cool (so I think) mom to my beautiful princess, writing, gadgets, reading, going out, movies, and being fabulous when not experiencing one of my moody spiral "moments."
My mp3 players have an assortment of music that range from some 50's crooners, 60's surf, 70's soul, 80's English rock/pop groups, something or other from the 90's and current hits. Love rap/hip hop (after awhile you become immune to the random 'hoes this, bitches that...') R&B, some rock and *maybe* an Emo song when I feel like throwing a pity party. Oh yea, the man in Black as well
Guy type flicks (chick flicks need not apply) Yes, I'm guilty of liking the movies shown on "MTV Cribs-The Rappers (or Athlete)" version ie Scarface, The Godfather, King of New York, etc...(sigh) I also love indie flicks, Kung-Fu movies (1970's Shaw Brothers era please) and horror.
Television
I stick to a handful of channels:
FX-The Shield, Nip Tuck
HBO-The Wire, The Sopranos (RIP), Rome, Real Sex
NBC-Law and Order, The Bionic Woman
Showtime-Weeds
Eh, can't remember anything else right now-that's enough TV anyway!
Books
James Patterson books (Kiss The Girls, Roses are Red, etc...) and trashy Jackie Collins! Also have been known to pick up a reference book here and there.
