we got together in 2006. jon had just moved back to tulsa after leaving another band. jeremy, joe, wes and sam had just found a house together. we wrote songs in wes' bedroom and released a few of them ourselves in 2007.
the band was born in tulsa, ok where there are a ton of great things that most likely youhavenevereverheard. we played a ton of shows, mostly for friends, and later for more and more friends.
we moved to a basement in portland, oregon at the wet end of 2008.

a New Friend for Jimmy & Clearcoat are brilliant. I don't say that often. I'm really glad I know you guys exist. I will do my best to be at the Woods show. Look forward to meeting the band that brought these jems into existence.
