Bio
NoLady is the latest project from the hotbed of talent in Ireland's northwest. Donegal Diva Aine O' Doherty leads this motley crew of talent, aided brilliantly by SuperKev Lowery on percussion, The Billy Fitzgerald of Dead Flags on lead guitar, and Mr. Micko Mc Grath of Inuendo on bass. NoLady have taken the best of 80's synth-rock and mixed it up with their own eclectic influences. The result is an album of catchy pop & rock songs designed to have you shaking your ass all over the dance floor. Irresistible hooks, funky basslines, thumping rhythms, rockin' guitars all move and thrust behind Aine O' Doherty's powerful vocals, - there may be no ladies in this band, but there's a Diva and her boys making music you will enjoy. The album is on the way and the live show has already kicked off- SeaSessions Bundoran June '09, HWCH, Castlebar Theatre with Imelda Mae November '09, Toys for Big Boys in the RDS... watch out for gigs in 2010, For more info, email noladymusic@gmail.com -
