Yo Ho Ho, and Welcome to the Official MySpace for The New Orleans Krewe of Pirates and Wenches! Please feel free to contact us for inclusion in our membership at nolawenches@yahoo.com. Look for our monthly Krewe letter from the Helm listing all upcoming events & current Wench News.

We are a Social Club Based in New Orleans & Celebrate such in the tradition of all the Krewes that came before us.

We were founded in August 2007 in New Orleans. Our mission is to bring the sometimes scandalous and revelrous aspects of the 17th century pirates and wenches high seas life into the lives of our modern-day pirates and wenches as we eat, drink, and terrorize the town for a great cause.

One of our chosen causes being, The St. Judes Community Center on Conti & Rampart in the French Quarter. We hold events, fundraisers and take donations with the proceeds being used to help fund the many programs St. Judes offers it's clients. Programs like the adult education center, medical clinic, food bank & guidence for family help & resources to any at risk individual.

The Krewe is proud to announce that we were able to donate two thousand dollars to St. Judes Community Center just before the Holidays this year, from the Calendar sales!! Thank you to all who Advertised,purchased, worked on & helped us sell!!!

We are dedicated to bringing the History of our New Orleans Pirates, Privateers & Baratarians alive again, and incorperating that into all we do.

We reach out to the community in as many ways possible, we Parade, Promote Tourism, Perform, Promote & Support our local establishments, and are willing to help anyone in need of a few good pirates and wenches as volunteers for their charitable cause.
