Noma plays with himself and sometimes makes nice sounds with
Opaque,Sinister Waltz, Black Sun and Ww cat. His vision is poor and now he branches out and plays with other people. He is in another band but their name changes all the time.
Influences
my influences are GOAT'S WIND,,WIZARD'S DROPLETS, ,PINCUS KLOOK,ZOZO,KS,JC,LVB,BE bla bla bla........
Sounds Like
a small hoover trying to clean lunar drains or a load of tosh.sounds like nothing and everything.been told i sound like early brahms before he went electric and did those duets with schumann eg black forest blues and lieder of the pack.
noma makes music with anything he can get his paws on.much music is done with household appliances eg hairdryers, razors, fans, industrial drones etc.
all things are usually put through the pickups of his guitar.he also likes playing various keyboards, synths and organs.he is happiest playing the piano under water for various creatures that can swim.

Electropapknit are pleased to announce that we are back with a new club night featuring amazing bands from Wednesday 4 November 2009!!!
As a new night in the now long gig history of Electropapknit shows, we thought we had to come up with an apt name that put across what we are about: great bands, cheap prices and bloody good times.
Therefore the new clubnight will be called Panda Panda Panda!
Based at the Glasgow School of Art, door entry with be £3 with cheap drink deals on shots at £1, pints £1.50 and vodka mix £1.50. We are very excited about the first night in November as it features three of our favourite most excellent bands from Glasgow:
Vom - mind bending apocalypse space rock, with a nod to the lounge effect that might just melt you! This aggression won't stand, man!
The Ballad of Mable Wong - jangled up bloody alt fun, with progressive and decadent melodies released by sharp guitar crunch, Sexy!
Mr Peppermint - former Hyena megasexuals, with swooning noise vox and tub thumping rhythms. Killer riffs on one side, masks in the other!
2's UP, it's ma fuckin birthday... Free Limited Edition Print (1/50) and an 80min mix cd (1/150) to the earliest arrivals...
NOTE THAT WE ARE STARTING AT 9 THIS MONTH, TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE TREMOLO BEER GUT (all the way from Denmark) AND BIG NED (all the way from the black lodge).
it takes the collective muscle of WINNERS DON'T SHIVER and GIANT TANK to slop up this much experimental weird-ass sound.....
ELI KESZLER Rhode Island USA solo drummerboy/ alemaster who happily mashes grains from the collected public houses of ecstatic free jazz, modern weirdo composition, no wave blunders and blootered gamelan using an array of gongs, bells, bowed percussives and amplification to brew his own tenacious improv tipple. Jandek, Greg Kelley, Steve Pyne and more have all propped up his bar to slurp that "straight from the barrel taste".
RETAIL UNIT 1990s throwback Sandy Milroy plays some archaic noises using ambidextrous minidisc technique he honed in days before he met them Muscletusk 21st Century boys.
BRITTLE HAMMER FOUR Two parts Usurper sparsecore brothers + one part Peeesseye yodelling traps-man + one part Dead Labour Process drool-tape farmer= all parts WRONG!!!
SCRIM His 'n' hers hiss 'n' hum piss 'n' moan duo wash muddy tones 'n' drones through low-ends 'n' lugs to leave yon mind swamped in free music's murk 'n' mire.

SAT 15th AUGUST - 10PM USURPER & FRITZ WELCH/CR:ACC ENSEMBLE/PYRAMIDION/SCRIM + FILMS BY JOHN MORAN & ELAINE KORDYS St. Stephens, Edinburgh - BYOB - pay what you can
CLECKHUDDERSFAX- Ridiculously catchy London outfit who conjure up influences from punk, prog, glam, disco and synth pop. Signed to the fantastic Chinchilla Tone records and featuring members of Please and Poltergroom, they are undoubtely one of the most fun live acts out there right now. (http://www.myspace.com/cleckhuddersfax)
DIVORCE - One of the first signings to Optimo's own music label, Divorce are an angst driven 4 girl and 1 guy Glaswegian outfit. Big distorted bass, cyclical drums, wonky guitars and demented vocals lead their mosh-pit inducing no-wave attack. (http://www.myspace.com/puredivorced)
BEARDS - Leeds seems to produce some of the wildest cross-genre acts in Britain today, and Beards are no exception. If you combined Minutemen's scattered punk rhythms, Arab on the Radar's hellbent aggression, grrrl punk vocals, some keyboard pop sensibilities and had the band all dressed in tree outfits, you'd probably be close. (http://www.myspace.com/beards2000)
Please note: The first band will be onstage at 8.30PM SHARP!
As always, all the proceeds from the gig will be passed on to the bands, so please tell your pals and share the DIY love!
