Who I'd like to meet:
NOMAD Sponsorship
The NOMAD Skateboard Team was put together to be the best skateboard team in Central Arkansas. We make it a point to not sponsor everyone for this reason. NOMAD makes a strong effort to only sponsor those willing to live and breathe skateboarding while striving to get better. This should only motivate each of you on the team or those wanting to join the team.
We don't typically sponsor people we do not already have a friendly relationship with. Please be sure to come by the shop and visit with us. With us choosing to be selective picking our team riders, it always helps for us to get to know you.
Shop Team: Free Skateboard Program, Free Shoe Program, Full Discounts, Other various free merchandise, Full involvement in team activities.
Flow Team: Flow Discounts, Full involvement in team activities.
How to get sponsored:
-1. You have to be good. If you ask the question "How good", you probably aren't ready to be sponsored. A list of tricks is not what we are looking for. We are looking for a well rounded skater with a deep bag of tricks with style for miles. Consistency is very important.
-2. Send in, email, or drop by the shop a "sponsor me" video. You can even link or send us your "you tube" footage. We just need to see you skate, and need to see that you have put forth the effort to put together footage. We need at least one minute of footage. What you use for the footage is up to you, just make it your best stuff.
-3. Only a certain number of spots are allowed on the team. If there is a spot available or a spot coming available you will be considered, if not you might have to wait.
-4. Be of good character. NOMAD wants to be represented in a positive manner. We expect this of our team members.
Personality, positive attitude, and enthusiasm towards skateboarding is just as important (if not more so) than ability on a skateboard.You might rip, but if your ego and bad attitude mask your abilities, we don't want anything to do with you!
