Equation	Jul 3 2009 10:22 AM ok so i got this idea a little bit ago. i know a lot of djs, producers...musicians in general, and i started thinking. I think one of the best things we could do is combine forces in kind of a weird way. We should have a group critique once a week where we can have a bunch of people meet up and give each other some honest, constructive criticism. My friend Nando and I are free tuesday (the 7th) at 7 (pm). I'm inviting everyone i know that makes music to bring on son theyve made and we're going to sit down, have a listening party and critique them. In order to come you MUST bring a song or a mix that you made or that you've been working on to have it critiqued. NO spectators. Those of you who aren't around chicago, you can upload/send us your stuff on soundcloud and we'll give it a listen and I'll write a review of what people think and send it back to you (I'll also ask that if you participate that you critique our music as well). And those of you who'd be willing to allow me, i'll post your stuff on my blog, and submit it to a few others and try and get some p.r. for them. Nando and I were also talking about getting a web page together, but that's maybe a few steps down the line. First step, is if you're interested, give me a call or respond to this message and meet at my house (2836 n. albany apt. 2 chicago, il) at 7 on tuesday. Tell anyone who has music and you think would be interested, the more peoples stuff we have to critique the better off everyone will be. Bring only your BEST track. :)
