Pro Career
On September 1, 2006 at the Par-A-Dice Casino, in East Peoria, Illinois, No Mercy, 122.6, won her pro debut when she TKO’d Geboria Mayfield, 122.5, in the second round of a scheduled in a four-rounder. 1-0 (1ko)
On January 26th 2007 at Cicero Stadium, in Cicero IL, No Mercy fought Mercedes Mercury who was 3-8 and a southpaw for her 2nd professional bout. No Mercy won by 4th Round KO leaving Mercedes Mercury with a record of 3-9 and moving No Mercy to 2-0 (2KO’s) No Mercy 123.5LBS and Mercedes Mercury 127LBS.
On April 7th 2007 Dierdorff won her 3rd Pro fight it was in Peoria, IL at the Paradice Casino against Deverne Morrison at 132LBS by 1st round KO! Now 3-0 (3KO’s)!
On April 20th 2007 at the Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana Dierdorff won a huge fight! She upset the veteran, lightweight champion, icon, and superstar of female boxing Mia St. John in a 6 round fight. Mia St. John’s record now falls to 43-9-2 with 18KO’S. Dierdorff moves to 4-0 with 3KO’S!! Dierdorff (129 lbs) pulled an upset when she beat seasoned veteran Mia St.John (136½ lbs). Dierdorff won by a six-round split decision (judges scores 59-55 (St. John) , 59-55, 58-56 (Dierdorff). Dierdorff came out very aggressively in the early rounds, while St. John whose left eye was nearly swollen shut, finished the fight strong.
According to WBAN correspondent Juan C. Allyon, “Whatever illusions Rosales-St. John harbored going in, they were jarred loose with a booming right to the head in round one. The blow stopped St.John in her tracks and caused her to do a slight stutter step. The war was on. Both had their moments, as they mauled, slugged and roughed each other up non-stop for six rounds. It wasn’t so much a boxing match, but a primeval brawl with pink gloves on. Dierdorff crowded and threw the full weight of her body behind virtually every swing, winging hurtful blows to body and head. Rosales-St.John slugged back fiercely, catching her more aggressive foe with rights coming in and combinations in close. There was a lot of grappling in close and a little hitting and holding on her part. Yet, for all her experience, she couldn’t quite offset her younger tormentor’s raw aggression and power. Dierdorff wasn’t intimidated and, at times, manhandled Rosales-St.John when pinned on the ropes, forcibly grabbing and turning her back to the ropes. She was just that strong and energetic. And, she was beating Rosales-St.John up. In the fourth, Rosales-St. John fell on her backside from what appeared to be a punch landed while she was off balance and squared-up. Referee Kurt Spivey ruled it a slip. Going into the sixth and final round, St.John appeared behind in points. Gathering herself up, she repeatedly backed Dierdorff to the ropes and battered with both fists. Dierdorff fought back hard, but fighting in her first six-rounder, she seemed to tire and was clearly edged in this round.”
Dierdorff was a late replacement for Rita Figueroa who was injured during training. Dierdorff earned an honorable mention with WBAN as fighter of the month for this win. “I took that fight on 4 days notice after Rita Figueroa got hurtand had to drop out.” Brooke told WBAN correspondent Bernie McCoy “I didn’t have time to properly train and make weight but I still thought I won easily. There was a lot of talk about how I got a “hometown” decision. The fact is I live in Illinois and the fight was in Indiana, and the truth is that Mia was the attraction that night, she was the “house” fighter. She even came into the ring wearing the promoters logo.. I won the first fight straight up.”
On July 2nd 2007 Dierdorff fought Elizabeth Villarreal in Temecula California at the Pechanga Casino, Dierdorff clearly was winning the fight easily, Villarreal suffered a cut at the end of the first round and the second round Dierdorff put it on her, the ref warned Villarreal two times he was going to stop the fight if she didn’t throw back. Villarreal managed to get a punch or two thrown but then Dierdorff landed some very clean upper-cuts and right hands, Villarreal fell back and into the ropes the ropes saved her, then Dierdorff attacked and the ref was getting ready to stop the fight and Villarreal was saved by the bell. The third round bell rang and the ref called time out and the fight was stopped and ruled a no-contest because they didn’t complete 3 rounds to go to the score cards and it was stopped due to the cut, and California State Rules they call this a Technical Draw but it should be ruled a No-Contest. So, that is the draw on Dierdorff’s record but she clearly was winning the fight. Dierdorff moved to 4-0-1 with 3KO’s! While Villearreal moved to 4-3-2.
Below is what the articles says on the internet about Dierdorff’s fight against Elizabeth Villarreal:
The Brooke Dierdorff and Elizabeth Villarreal fight was stopped after the second round by the doctor because Villarreal had sustained a very doop cut over her left eye from an accidental headbutt. Villarreal caught a break because of round 2 had another 10 seconds left in it she would have been knocked out as Brooke was landing big power shots and Villarreal was almost out when the bell rang ending the round. The thing that no one understands is why this fight was ruled a technical draw instead of a no contest.
On September 21, 2007, at the Meadowbrook Music Festival, in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Border City Boxing Club’s Jeannine Garside TKO’d Dierdorff at 1:10 in the sixth round, of a scheduled six round bout. Both fighters carried undefeated records into the ring, and there was no love lost between the two from the opening bell. Garside knocked Dierdorff down three times, before referee Frank Garza called a halt to the bout in round six. In one news article they stated, “Garside came out aggressively, sending Dierdorff down for a flash knockdown at the end of the first round with an extended flurry along the ropes. Showing her toughness, Dierdorff recovered well and the next five rounds were a festival of power punching that had the crowd roaring at every turn of momentum. Back and forth the two women went, first one taking the initiative and then the other. Dierdorff’s corner threw in the towel in the 6th and final round after Dierdorff was knocked down again.” The fight was not without controversy after Garside punched at Dierdorff after Dierdorff went down against the ropes in the first round, risking a disqualification. Dierdorff recovered well and her accurate punching made a fight of it until Garside got the upper hand in the final round. Garside’s record improved to 7-0-1 (3 KOs), while Dierdorff’s fell to 4-1-1 (3 KOs). This fight was disputed but they would do nothing about it… Garside should have been disqualified for the illegal hits continuously after Dierdorff was down and also for not making weight..
On January 31, 2008 at the Utopia Paradise Theater in the Bronx, New York, former IWBF world champion and 3 time world champion and seasoned veteran Alicia “Slick” Ashley (121 lbs) of Westbury, New York lived up to her nickname with a smooth eight round unanimous (79-73,78-74,80-72) decision over a game Dierdorff (120 lbs) employing early round, ring-wide, movement and late round, pinpoint punching, WBAN correspondent Bernie McCoy wrote that “”Slick” is not only Ashley’s nickname, it’s an accurate description of her silky smooth moves in the ring. That graceful aspect of Ashley’s repertoire was on full display over eight rounds against a game, determined Brooke Dierdorff, who defines the description, “she comes to fight.” Dierdorff took the fight to Ashley early in the bout, but Ashley’s movement was the defining factor for the first couple of rounds. In the middle rounds, Ashley started to land her jab frequently and had Dierdorff bleeding from the nose. Dierdorff’s best round was the fifth when she managed to catch Ashley with a couple of hard shots, but the veteran fighter regrouped, got back into her rhythm and clinched the bout with big seventh and eighth rounds, when Ashley landed her hardest punches of the bout.” The win gave the veteran Ashley the vacant NABF super bantamweight crown and improved her record to 14-7-1 while Dierdorff fell to 4-2-1 (3ko’s).
February 27th 2008 Dierdorff fought Ella Nunez in New York, her back yard. Dierdorff was winning the entire fight and got cought off balance with an overhand right. She got right up and was fine not hurt at all put hands up walked towards the ref and he stopped the fight.. Dierdorff was robbed.. The funny thing is that every fight there that night the home town person won because the ref stopped all the fights for them. Dierdorff fought for a re-match but is still yet to have it. Nunez improved to 6-3(2ko’s) with the win and Dierdorff fell to 4-3-1 (3ko’s) with the loss.
On September 20 th 2008 at the Mile High Event Center in Commerce City, Colorado Dierdorff (124LBS) fought undefeated Jennifer Barber (125LBS) for the vacant NABF Title. Barber won a unanimous decision the final judges score cards were (80-71, 80-71, 79-72). According to Eric Duran of Rocky Mountain Boxing, “In the opening round, Dierdorff … came out with the strategy of trying to bully Barber. It worked for most of the first round as Dierdorff banged away at the body when both fighters were clinched. In the 2nd round, it was more of the same, Dierdorff banging away in the clinch. Barber’s skills were on display with some nice combinations, but it was the pressure of Dierdorff that won her the round on my card. Round 3 was all Barber as she picked up her pace and displayed some very good boxing abilities. In the first minute of the round, Barber opened up a cut over the left eye of Dierdorff with a accidental headbutt. In Round 4, Barber opened up her arsenal of weapons, unleashing furious combinations onto Dierdorff. Round 5 started off with back and forth action as both fighters are putting in work. Yet it’s Barber who weathers the storm and dominates the remainder of the round with lead left hooks and lead right hands. Round 6 was slow as both fighters look to rest before the championship rounds of this 8 round contest. Barber improved her pro record to 8-0 (4 KO’s) with this win while Dierdorff fell to 4-4-1 (3 ko’s). Dierdorff did not fight her fight and was not mentally prepared for the fight. This fight was very close fight and Barber got the “home town” fight advantage in this fight. Dierdorff has contacted Barber’s team several times for a re-match for this title and still have not gotten a response back about this happening. They know the truth..
On April 4, 2009 at Ciudad Victoria in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Brooke Dierdorff (131 lbs) won an eight round unanimous (76-77,78-76,77-75) decision over Mia St. John (130 lbs) for the WBC International lightweight title. This was in Mia St. Johns back yard Mexico so there would be no more questions as to who really won the first and 2 nd fights between the two fighters. According to James Blears at Boxingscene.com, “Mia who’d lost in their first encounter in April 2007 due to a telephone booth style brawl, tried to use her longer reach this time around to box, but Brooke was again successful with her rough tactics which weren’t elegant, but they proved effective. Mia started well boxing intelligently, but as the fight wore on there were more and more clinches. Mia whose left cheek was scuffed raw fought back with courage, cuffing Brooke in clinches with some short rights and going to the body. But Brooke’s work rate was higher and she was giving marginally more than she was taking although there were not too many clean connecting punches. Mia caught Brooke charging in with a peach of a long arching right hook at the beginning of the eighth and final round. More of this marksmanship would have won her the fight, but Brooke had smothered her style. To their credit, both ladies showed their class with great sportswomanship following the final bell. And the crowd applauded Brooke for a hard fought win”. St.John fell to 45-10-2 (18 KO’s) with the loss while Dierdorff improved to 5-4-1 (3 KO’s).

God's Love Letter to Me & To You
I was at church one day and after the service, this stranger who was seating next to me opened his file and told me that I should have this letter. All I could react at that moment was just a simple thank you, but what I read from the letter moved me to tears. It has been my prayer to recieve and know God's love for me. And I believe this is a just a small fragment of what God plans to show me. And so I am sharing this letter with you, because God loves you as much too.
My child,
you may not know me, but I know everything about you (Psalm 139:1). I know when you sit down and when you rise up(Psalm 139:2), I am familiar with your ways (Psalm 139:3), even the very hairs on your head are numbered (Matt 10:29-31). For you were made in my image (Genesis 1:27). In me you live and move and have your being (Acts 17:28), for you are my offspring (Acts 17:28).
I knew you even before you were conceived (Jeremiah 1:4-5). I chose you when I planned creation (Ephesians 1:11-12), You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book(Psalm 139:15-16). I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live (Acts 17:26). You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), I knit you together in your mother's womb (Psalm 139:13), and brought you forth on the day you were born (Psalm 71:6).
I have been misrepresented by those who don't know me (John 8:41-44) I am not distant and angry, but I am the complete expression of love (1 John 4:16) and it is my desire to lavish my love on you. (1 John 3:1) Simply because you are my child and I am your Father (1 John 3:1) I offer you more than your earthly father ever could (Matthew 7:11) For I am the perfect father (Matthew 5:48) Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand (James 1:17) For I am your provider and I meet all your needs (Matthew 6:31-33)
My plan for your future has always been filled with hope. (Jeremiah 29:11) Because I love you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3) My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore (Psalms 139:17-18) And I rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) I will never stop doing good to you (Jeremiah 32:40) For you are my treasured possession (Exodus 19:5) I desire to establish you with all my heart and all my soul (Jeremiah 32:41)
And I want to show you great and marvelous things (Jeremiah 33:3) If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me (Deuteronomy 4:29) Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4)
For it is I who gave you those desires (Philippians 2:13)
I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine (Ephesians 3:20) For I am your greatest encourager (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17) I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you (Psalm 34:18) As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to my heart (Isaiah 40:11)
One day I will wipe away every tear from your eyes (Revelation 21:3-4) And I'll take away all the pain you have suffered on this earth (Revelation 21:3-4) I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus (John 17:23) For in Jesus, my love for you is revealed (John 17:26) He is the exact representation of my being (Hebrews 1:3) He came to demonstrate that I am for you, not against you (Romans 8:31) And to tell you that I am not counting your sins (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you (1 John 4:10)
I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love (Romans 8:31-32) If you receive the gift of my son Jesus, you receive me (1 John 2:23) And nothing will ever separate you from my love again (Romans 8:38-39)
Come home and I'll throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen (Luke 15:7) I have always been Father, and will always be Father (Ephesians 3:14-15)
My question is, will you be my child? (John 1:12-13)
I am waiting for you (Luke 15:11-32)
Love,
Your Dad. Almighty God
