Fans of high energy, female-fronted groups will enjoy their live sound, propelled by lead singer Cecilia's white-hot stage performance. Their blend of modern Alternative, Indie Rock and bittersweet Pop can finally be heard on their self-titled debut, released in April and produced by LA-based Fab V. Zee Grossi (RHCP, Glenn Hughes, George Clinton, Ice T).
After playing to sell-out crowds in their native Italy and the UK (playing in London at LA Scala and 12 Bar Club among others), NMD's reputation is accelerating since embarking on several US tours in the last two years. Playing prestigious venues in NYC and the East Coast, including CBGB’s, The Knitting Factory Main Stage, Piano’s and TT’s The Bears Place, NMD have built a strong and loyal following among the most demanding and devoted music fans in the world.
In Europe, Nomoredolls have played festivals like Rock in Idro, Sherwood and Venice Rock Festival sharing the stage with bands like Offspring, The Hives and No Use for a Name.
Chilly Morning, next single from the album, has also been featured in “Still Life” movie soundtrack (Filmmaker Maurizio Cipriano – Altoverbano Productions), out by February 2007.
