Aprés plusieurs années d'apprentissage dans l'underground, NNF est en train de s'imposer dans le paysage reggae français. Riche de ses inspirations roots, le groupe a su créer un reggae empreint de hip-hop, de ragga au son lourd, cuivré, où les mélodies vocales sont au service de textes parfois revendicatifs, souvent sensibles, toujours conscients.
Depuis la parution en 2004 de leur premier album Horizonte asfalto ( Ruff Sound Music), le band s'est fait remarqué dans de nombreux festivals (Fiesta Sète, Ecaussystème, FISE...) aux côtés d'artistes tels que Lee Perry, Israël Vibration, Jimmy Cliff, Horace Andy, The Congos, ou encore Groundation. No Named Family a également été selectionné par la FNAC pour le concert Sud en Scène, et par l' ADDM 34 pour le projet 34 Tour.
Parallèlement, NNF s'investit de plus en plus dans la planète reggae en accompagnant en live des artistes tel que Faya Dread (Centre Afrique), Six One Dread (Fr-Cameroun) , Netna (Fr-All) mais aussi pour la jeune et talentueuse artiste martiniquaise Nayahfrika.
Après plus d'une centaine de concert et une belle tournée 2007 au coté, entre autre de Yannick Noah et d'Alpha Blondy, le groupe est actuellement en studio pour enregistrer son nouvel opus.Vous pouvez, en attendant, retrouver No Named Family sur la Compilation "Reggae D'Ici:La Relève" (Echo Production) dans tous les Bacs.
ENGLISH: NO NAMED FAMILY, is a musical identity, a roots reggae, copper-colloured sound, inspired by the English and Jamaican vibrations; but it is especially a spiritual identity to the aware(conscious) and claiming message which deals with our report to the human being, to the faith, to the universal.
