The logical evolution from dj to producer evolved slowly as the technology involved in music production mutated from the all hardware extravaganza to the actual software dominant democracy
Testing new and inovative solutions at that time like Rebirth or learning the basics of midi sequencing and recording with Cubase VST was fun and educative but was never considered a real production friendly environment
Only with the arrival of Reason, Cubase SX and the newly developed VST/VSTi technology he felt confortable enough to start developing full featured tracks hoping them to grow into fully developed music
Later Ableton Live became his main tool for creating his music and performing live shows
Track after track he focused on finding his own musical language and sound groove instead of following established styles, constantly improving his production techniques and tools until reaching his own unique sound: Hi Tech
South African Corona, whose second album is getting ready to be launched on Solar Tech very soon, and his compatriot Chabunk teamed for a Sunset Safari. As this term implies, it is an beautiful but also an adventurous tour that awaits the listeners. On the contrary of cheesy standard melodies, these varied tracks put the idea of Trance in a nutshell and distinguish themselves by forcing power and deepness. While most of them represent the creativity of South Africa, also material from Brazil, Chile, the UK and Germany is included.
