Nonsens - A metal hardcore band currently unsigned which composed of 6 individuals hailing from Taytay, Rizal Philippines. The name Nonsens taken from the abbreviation of Next October Night, Screams Every Naive Silence. The band was formed 2003 where in Kz Enriquez and Andree Pineda on vocals and Ralph Dongalen on guitars then the line up changed due to some difficulties. Kerry Maik joined in as the drummer of the band, Redmer Sicam on guitars and Jonel Buguis took in the place as their bassist.They’ve started recording for their EP in July of 2006 and they release their EP entitled "Frail Gestures of A Broken Dream" last March of 2007. Nonsens currently playing on the street of QC, Manila etc. and they are currently recording for their first full-length cd. NONSENS anthems speak of a powerful drive to better oneself and the scene.

LAGISTA will be giving us a different way of sharing love on Valentine’s Day—with hardcore music and photo exhibition by bands and photographers of the Laguna underground scene – all for a good cause.

“Our Angels and Kings” –The Harmony of Our Souls, a benefit event for children under DSWD’s supervision will be held on February 13, 2009, 7 o’clock p.m. at the Saltwater Bar and Grill, Pansol, Calamba City.

It will feature hardcore/metal acts such as Piledriver, Eightounce, Brawler, West and Mihara. Also, Ammunition, Groundzero, Towards The End, Divided We Fall, Sauna, Play, No Peace In Silence, At Full Strength, KxDxSistema, Sacrilegion, and Penitentia.

On display during the event are music and street photography works of amateur and professional photographers: Timothy Ignacio, Rhane Aldave, Zoraya Lua, Jay Yator, Rei Felipe, Yen Zara, Yannick Bisson, Jessie de Vera, and more.

Donation or purchase of any photo from this event will buy more food and learning materials for more less fortunate children. All proceeds will go to DSWD-Santa Cruz.

The LAGISTA’s “Our Angels and Kings” –The Harmony of Our Souls -are being sponsored by FUDGE Magazine, MusikLokal.com, Digital Inc. Pictures, and Fine Image Studio.

Laguna’s Group of Litratista (LAGISTA) is a non-profit collective of photography hobbyists seeking to uphold the masses’ appreciation for visual arts and independent Filipino music. It focuses more on rock and band photography and, Our Angels and Kings, LAGISTA’s first big undertaking, joins the core interests of the group: underground music, photography and building camaraderie.
