NSF come from the golden years of late 90's skatepunk. The band, originally a trio, started to rock out Victoriaville in 1997. Quickly, they got attention and respect from locals friends and bands and got larger audience throughout Quebec. With their established fast-paced punkrock, NSF goes a step forward when Sly joined the band in 1999 with his sophisticated and melodic guitar riffs. Often suffered from member changes, Beech joined in as second axeman later on and Windfall's Vince passed the test for bass duties. After Sly's departure in 2005, NSF had some fun again with former cofoundator's Chuck for about a year. In spring 2006, Chuck left again but Frank and the boys got their shit together to put a solid line-up and come back again with brand new songs !
NSF have played with renowned bands such as Satanic Surfers, No Fun At All, Adhesive, Randy, Ballpoint, Anti-Flag, Pridebowl, Ten Foot Pole, Choke, BigWig and Diesel Boy. 2004 was an awesome year ; they released their first album on Freedumb Records, « Hooked on Addictions », and then, toured throughout Quebec and Ontario with punkrock legends Pridebowl. They also appeared on the Ernie Ball's stage of the 2004 Quebec city Vans Warped Tour.
There's definitely a place for NSF in the punkrock scene, locally or overseas ! With Frank's both solid drumming and clear vocals tasks, quick breaks juxtaposed with tight and melodic guitars and some progressive basslines, NSF's punkrock is one of a kind and they will always be ready for some stage action !

Je serais très intéressé à vous avoir dans la programmation du 819 Fest 2009. Ce fest aura lieu le 26 septembre à Victoriaville dès 11 am. Plus de 15 bands seront de la partie!!!
PS : Vu l’important nombre de groupe jouant a cet événement la paye des bands est minime, cependant je peux vous garantir que le show accueillera facilement plus de 100 personnes, ce qui est très intéressant pour le band.
