Two small nightclubs in São Paulo - Brazil watched the delivery of NoPorn. It was Liana Padilha making vocal interferences behind the sound desk, almost shy, while Luca Lauri; focused, serious, released electronic beats at Supperclub and then at the legendary Xingu. The dance floor got down.
At the clubs and parties where they played as djs the most crucial moment was always the live. The duo was loosening up more and more, they were getting more confident about their performance (and to be honest, also more sardonic). The dance floor was getting down even more.
Then the invitation for making an album came. The producer Dudu Marote plugged all channels of his studio and brain for the final necessary details to turn into an album what had been having success on the dance floor of many places in Brazil. It was NoPorn growing up.
During the album producing process, NoPorn's first track was released: Ctrl+Alt+Del, which was already a hit, sang like a choir on the dance floors both in São Paulo and Rio, was released in the first compilation of Brazilian electro, the MTV Amp ElectroBreaks. The track that mixes technology with sex introduced the album. ("control my desire delete my pain control alt my fire...").
It was NoPorn starting to have its own life. A process that has just been completed.
Dois pequenos clubes de São Paulo assistiram ao nascimento do NoPorn. Era Liana Padilha fazendo interferências vocais atrás da mesa de som, quase tímida, enquanto Luca Lauri, compenetrado, sério, soltava bases eletrônicas no Supperclub e depois no lendário Xingu. A pista vinha abaixo.
Nas noites e festas em que tocavam como djs, o momento mais esperado era sempre o live. A dupla foi se soltando cada vez mais e a performance de ambos foi ficando cada vez mais segura (e, verdade seja dita, um pouco mais debochada). A pista, cada vez maior, vinha abaixo.
Veio então o convite para fazer um disco. O produtor Dudu Marote plugou todos os canais de seu estúdio e de seu cérebro para dar os toques finais necessários para transformar em álbum o trabalho que vinha fazendo sucesso, nessas alturas, nas pistas de vários lugares do Brasil. Era o NoPorn virando gente grande.
Durante o processo de produção do álbum, acabou sendo lançada a primeira faixa do NoPorn em disco: Ctrl+Alt+Del, que já era hit, cantado em coro pela pista tanto em São Paulo quanto no Rio, foi lançada na primeira coletânea de electro brasileiro, o Mtv Amp ElectroBreaks. A faixa, que mistura tecnologia com sexo, abriu o disco. (vou programar você pra brincar comigo... quer ser meu robô? quer ser meu brinquedo? seus fios ligados em mim... meus fios plugados nos seus... control my desire delete my pain control alt my fire...").
Era o NoPorn começando a ganhar vida própria. Processo que se completa agora.
