No Pressure kicked off the new year with an awesome performance on New Year’s Eve 2008/09, on the main stage at The Entrance Waterfront - in front of a crowd of 20,000 and a couple of weeks later supported The Brewster Brothers Trio at Tamworth.
The YouTube clip posted below on this profile page is from Breakers Country Club at Wamberal where the band supported Dave Gleeson (the Screaming Jets). They joined him onstage for one of his Better known songs.
No Pressure are a serious combination of five passionate young musicians whose energy is building around their live performances and song writing abilities.
Their film clip, which was shot at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum, was previewed during The Today Show’s entertainment report by Richard Wilkins. ‘No Pressure’ have also performed on the Today Show, Scout TV and The Crew and featured in national print media and teen magazines.
Between constant gigs and rehearsals, they have also recorded - firstly, they recorded a single which was then followed by a 5 track EP – both of which were fully self funded by the band from live performances. Most recently, they have recorded in Melbourne at Studio 52 - thanks to the JB Hi-Fi Kool Skools Scholarship Award for New South Wales. As a result they now have a new album titled, ‘Framed’ which is due for release in the coming weeks through JB HI-FI stores, iTunes and the bands website.
