About me: Nor Cal Promotions was founded in the summer of 2007. We are a local music promotion company that enjoys volunteering our time to help promote and drive the local Sacramento Music Scene.
We help bands spread the word about upcoming shows, hand out promotional materials at local businesses, and help at shows where needed.
Best of all since we do it for a love of music and just having a good time...Our services are free to any local band that wants help.
We do have requirements, so we can't help every band, but if you are interested let us know and we can see what we can do.
How can we afford to do this? We can't. That is why we have to sadly have real jobs that take up a lot of our time. We help when we can where we can if we can. Please understand you would not be paying for a service therefore we provide services on a case by case scheduled out basis.
I wish we had the time to attend every show for every artist but unfortunately we can't.
We hope to add to our team of people willing to help promote locally for these bands. If you are interested in becoming part of the Nor Cal Promo team send us a message. We meet once a week (Not required). Let us know if you would like to attend. If there is a specific band you want to help with that is fine. If you want to help with all of them that is great, too. If you have a favorite band and just want to pick up promo to hand out we can arrange that also.
The whole goal is to help get local bands the exposure and promotion they deserve for there art. Music has saved our lives many times..we just pay it forward.
We have promo days where we go out for the day and slowly promo around town while hanging out. We have listening parties for albums. We work merch booths at shows.And Nor Cal Promo people are eligible for prizes including meeting bands, signed posters, ect. It can be a lot of fun and a great way to help promote local music.
