About me:
NORCAM is a 501(c)(3) corporation chartered to create a television station which will run the PEG access channels assigned to North Reading by Verizon and Comcast. The cut over date occurred at midnight 3 January 2008.
Our first broadcast occurred at 8:00 AM on Saturday, 5 January 2008. This was a 5 hour meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room at Town Hall. The selectmen reviewed the budgets of three town departments.
These programs are broadcast on 22 Comcast and 24 Verizon

Who I'd like to meet:
WE NEED MEMBERS. Part of what we are trying to do is to get the people of North Reading and surronding communities involved. Here is how it works.
Step 1 - You join NORCAM
Step 2 - You learn how to make TV! (sound's fun huh?)
Step 3 - YOU MAKE TV - You're creative, you have idea's, let them shine!
Step 4 - WE AIR IT - Let everyone see your work, show them you are creative, educate them, entertain them, impress them. Show people what you can do with a little imagination.
Step 5 - Get your friends involved!!!
Local Access is fun and a great way to learn about the way TV is made. It can be a start to a career, an outlet for creativity, a fun hobby, a post-retirement project! ANYONE CAN BE PART OF LOCAL ACCESS.
