   About Norcsalordie
Hi there - we are Norcsalordie!

So who are Norcsalordie? (nork-sa-lordy) Well, essentially we play folk, but with a difference. Our aim is to take folk back to its origins. No, not some druids in a field or dirgey emo-folk ballads. We present them as they would have been sung at their conception - namely rowdy, upbeat, good-time songs. As well as our repertoire of traditional songs we also perform our own material.

Martin Neal, is the guitarist and also sings backing vocals and great harmonies. He comes up with Norcsalordie's original tunes on his trusty old 12 string. Originally from Sidcup, Kent, he has flirted with many different styles of music, which is very evident in his guitar playing.

Paul McHugh wrote the lyrics for most of Norcsalordie's original songs. Originally from Grimsby many of his songs are based on North Lincs where he grew up.

Anyways on with the show - have a listen, see what you think! Regular news updates, a full gig list, demos and videos on our website! www.norcsalordie.com - or go to YouTube and search on 'Norcsalordie' for all our videos

Hi Paul and Martin. We thoroughly enjoyed the acoustic session in The Gordon. Looking at Richard's video, I think I might have been slightly "happy". Great to see Richard and Linda at The Foresters opening night.

Hey- thanks for the comments. Your performance was really good too, definitely one of my faves. Probably should have told you that at the time but I was a bag of nerves as per usual! That night sounds awesome, i will definitely try and make it down sometime!

Cheers
