About NORD (Free downloads!!!)

The idea of NORD started roughly around the turn of the century, but was officially formed in 2005 by the band's main songwriter, guitarist and frontman Oliver Rauer. Since its early, humble beginnings NORD has undergone a few line-up changes, has released 2 EP's (with a third in the pipeline) and has played countless very successful gigs around the UK, sharing stages with the likes of underground Doom legends Pagan Altar ...

NORD lean very much towards blues-based, raw, alcohol and testosterone drenched, low-end sewage Doom Metal with Stoner Rock influences. Wrapped in a dick-shrivelling, diarrhoea-inducing and sphincter-disableing sound NORD gigs have proved to be a real shock to the digestive system - in more ways than one! In a nut-shell, this is old-school Doom Rock with a modern twist, straight from the guts, spewing out onto a stage near you very soon!
