About me:
Nord USA is the distributor for Clavia's Nord keyboard line in the United States in Canada. A division of Armadillo Enterprises, Nord USA is responsible for all sales and service in North America. We have been proudly importing Nord for over a decade, and look forward to bringing new and exciting keyboard instruments to musicians.
Our line comprises two groups of performance instruments. The Electromechanical lines are professional performance keyboards based on electric pianos and organs that shaped the sound of contemporary music. The Nord Electro emulates tonewheel organs, and electric piano classics such as the Wurlizter and Clavinet. The Nord Stage series is our flagship keyboard line, adding brilliant acoustic pianos, a synth section, weighted action, and more effects to the Electro concept. For the die-hard organ player, the Nord C1 dual manual combo organ is the pinnacle of clonewheel technology.
The Virtual Analog lines are descendent from the pioneer of digital synthesizers, the Nord Lead. Its current incarnation, the Lead 2X, is a digitally-modeled subtractive synth that sounds like it was truly analog. The Modular G2 is the world's most flexible synthesizer, giving softsynth flexibility to a hardware keyboard. In the Autumn of 2007, we will begin shipping the Nord Wave, which combines analog, FM, and wavetable syntheses together in another true original from Clavia in Stockholm.
