What is it with people, releasing animals for the good of the animal, when that released animal will die because it does not know how to look after its self?
Take birds of prey for instance, because they have talons and an instinct to kill, does that mean they will kill if released? No. It does not. Unless that bird of prey has been taught to kill, it will starve to death before it will hunt
Defend animals by all means, but please, for the sake of the animal you love, do it wisely.
Humans can adapt and survive, but if you were dumped in a strange place, remote island, would you survive with no knowledge of what to eat? How to prepare the food? Where to seek shelter?
To birds of prey it does not come naturally eather, it is taught by the parents or in some cases, falconers, but not every falconers bird of prey knows how to hunt
Music
Music, until I joined myspace I thought I had found all the music I liked, bands like Queen and U2, Madness and The Darkness, Status Quo and Country singers like Dolly Parton, then there was the Sugarbabes and Madonna, now? Now I don't know what I prefer to be honest, each day a new band or 10 befriends me and of course I listen to their tunes, most I can honestly say I enjoy. If I had to state the best artist on myspace? I could not, there are so many, one day maybe I will list my favourite of the week, thats as fair as I can be.
Movies
My favourite films have to be the Lord of the rings, but most war films, the classic Rambo and Comando films but I also enjoy city slickers and die hard, my favourite actor would be Nicolas Cage, my favourite actress would be Kate Beckinsale in another favourite, Van Helsing. Once again, there are way to many films to list here that I have enjoyed, some too embarrasing to mention.

Oh for time to read. As a lad I loved the famous five and the lion witch and wardrobe series, the lord of the rings and many others, now, sadly time is too short to read paper.

hi glad to get you as a friend as you can see on the site we are a small but dammed busy sanctuary as last night out to a local supermarket for a robin(yes) one of those were it says wildlife on our site (well i cannot find it) but we help were ever we can my latest ordeal was a very angry european eagle owl who attached herself to my arms the lad had bought her and a very young male in liverpool i think the seller was glad to get rid as she doesn't like the glove at all, i wish (and i will say pray) to have a sanctuary up and running one day but till then we do our best and that is all i can do i am not a expert and never will be as i learn new things every day and i love it, i will leave it at that and hope to speak to you soon bill if you need help from some one in the north west uk then do not think twice just give us a bell as i hope you will not mind if i have a question i hope you do not mind if i ask.

Hey thanks for finding me,coincidentally I have always loved falcons, since I was about 7, I used to draw them alot. I have have always loved the film LadyHawke too. I have only seen Turkey Vultures as far as large prey birds in the wild up close, so If I saw an owl I think I would freak! they are so beautiful, majestic and intelligent.
I thought that would be your "sanctuary" :) e all should have many.... places and activities that take us there. ps Zak would run for cover with the terrors of the sky! He's not a daft dog.... lol ;)
