I am a one-man band and perform everything myself.
I play the keyboards, electric guitar and use a base amp, two keyboard amps, and a complete P.A. system and sound just like a five-piece combo. I enjoy giving live performances!!
My E-mail address is: Area51watch@aol.com
Influences
Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson,
Buck Owens and the Buckaroos (with Don Rich as lead guitarist),
George Jones, Hank Williams, Ronnie Milsap, Don Williams, Charlie Rich, Mickey Gilley, Charley Pride, etc. etc..........But without any doubt, my first great music "hero" was the late country-style pianist,
Floyd Cramer. It was his unique piano style that gave me the inspiration to become a Country/Blues style pianist later on. It was when I first heard Floyd Cramer's hit "The Last Date" on the radio one day in the early 60's that totally changed my music life. I still remember how I was totally thrilled upon hearing his unique piano sound for the first time.......................................I also love electric guitar instrumentals (especially the "surfing music" genre of the 60s, as exemplified by
Nokie Edwards and the Ventures); and cosmic, meditative music.............Some of my other music "heroes" are:
Chet Atkins, Carmen Cavallaro and
Roy Orbison.
Sounds Like
Norio Hayakawa, but some people say that I sound a little like Johnny Cash or Waylong Jennings or Elvis Presley (LOL).
But I also enjoy doing the impressions of Willie Nelson.
Hello, my name is NORIO HAYAKAWA, country pianist, lead guitarist and vocalist........I was born in 1944 in Yokohama, Japan......
In 1965 I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to major in Spanish and eventually became a public high school Spanish teacher in Arizona........
Living in the Southwest for many years, I fell in love with Country & Western music..... In 1976 I became a U.S. citizen....I love America and am proud to be an American!.......
In 1982 I moved to Los Angeles and became a full-time, licensed funeral director...and worked in Los Angeles for many years and resided in Torrance........In the spring of 2008 I decided to move back to New Mexico to retire. I am now a resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
I am trilingual: Spanish, Japanese and English.........My belief is that there are no "coincidences" in our lives....there is much, much more to this world than what we can only see with our eyes.........life in this world is filled with mysteries.........You can E-mail me at:..... Area51watch@aol.com...........and I will see if I can send you my CD as my gift to you................by the way,
I was, at one time, a director of the
CIVILIAN INTELLIGENCE NETWORK, a nationwide, loosely-knit network of researchers on various defense-related projects at operating bases such as at the Groom Lake complexes, a.k.a.,
Area 51 , in Nevada........ I had the privilege of seeing this amazing research, development and test base (
Area 51 News Updates ) several times from both the White Sides and the Freedom Ridge during the early 90s when those nearby hills were not closed off to the public...........I still try to keep up with the latest information on this important, leading-edge aerospace complex in Nevada.
Once again, my E-mail address is:..... Area51watch@aol.com........
God bless you!!

Hi, Norio! I haven't had much time to come to MySpace lately due to my studies. I only managed to hear one song of yours so far but I liked it and will definitely make some time to listen to the rest! By the way, the song reminded me of the great Johnny Cash! So you play live too? Do you perform by yourself?
As for Ufology, I remember reading your blog about Bill Cooper, Lord have mercy on him. It's very possible that he was a manipulated disinformation agent, as you said. I'm curious to know what you think of Phil Schneider, another 'whistleblower' shall we say.
That's all for now. Good luck with your tour! :) God bless!
HI Norio - thanks so much for the invite. Your music is fantastic - I never knew your could sing :). And "wow" what a voice!!! I sat here working last night listening to your songs for a couple of hours - very soothing :).
