About me:

There are some things that I like and some things I like to do. For a quick glimpse into this element of my complex psyche, check the interests, music, movies, etc. to the left. Though this doesn't seem to be as epidemic as it is on other sites, I can say with some certainty that I am tired of reading about people who like sports (either at the stadium or crashed out on the couch), people who like to travel (be it locally, nationally, or internationally), people who like to dance (salsa, club, the cabbage patch, whatever), people who like to dress up for a night on the town or are just fine slumming on the couch with a movie and poppacorn, people who read anything by Dan Brown, people who like to "laugh till their eyes bleed", and people who believe I must love their pet before I can love them.
To be fair, I do like and/or believe in a good deal of what I just enumerated (though I won't go into details here), but I am very tired of reading about it in everyone's profile. Please tell me something about YOU that everyone else isn't also saying. For example, does the word "scrunchie" make you giggle? Have you ever quoted Monty Python past the point where it was funny? What do you do when you see a spider in your house? (scream and run?/leave it be?/move it outside?/squish it?) Have you ever used duct tape for anything... out of the ordinary? Boxers, pajama pants, or nothing to bed?
Does it really matter? I think it does... |
Who I'd like to meet:
Someone who doesn't balk at my "About Me" section. Someone who is willing to talk and really get into the complexities of what makes each of us unique.
