Cyril A Ruth	May 15 2008 4:38 AM To all Normals fan's a liitle history on the band. The Normals were started by myself(Cyril A. Ruth)and bass player Steve Walters in Sept.1977 in New Orleans,La. I left the band and the lineup of David,Charlie,Steve and Chris stayed to very end of the band in Dec. 1980. The Normals very first show was Jan. 7,1978 at a club called Changes. The Normals played shows with The Ramones,Iggy Pop,The Police,B-52's and Talking Heads. Have 2 cd's out(hunt them down) and one original 45 released in 1978 "Almost Ready".
