You have probably heard many wild stories about sorcerer-musician Normanoak and his shadow self Poisonoak. All of these fairy tales are both true and false. Currently Normanoak lives alone in a carraige house in Bloomington, IN where he is recording new songs and playing a few regional shows, writing and performing children's music, working with kindergarten and pre-school kids, teaching guitar lessons, rambling through the forests of southern Indiana, identifying mushrooms, painting in black ink, growing herbs and vegetables, riding the bicycle, and learning about the witch trials in 16th century Europe...
Hey there!
just thought we'd let you know that we'll be performing at Rachael's Cafe (300 E 3rd St.) on Sunday, the 8th.
The show starts at 8 and there's a $5 cover charge.
there'll be some other great bands there, so you should check it out!
Hope all is going well. Got myself to the End of the Road last weekend (photos on my Facebook site - you know where it's at). You should most definitely play this festival next year if you can get in. Jim!
Sweet, kind and beautiful. Dearest Chris, I tried to see you 2 years ago in atlanta but they were too uptight to let you perform. That was awful! Two same mud spots under opposing thumbs. My mom says that you paint with your words and voice. You both make sense. Keep on, surely you will do what you will, so thank you. I like to paint to Normanoak (and the impossible shapes) and I want to tell you that Anhalonium is my favorite song since I first heard it. -gone swimming kat
Just a little word to say how much I still love to nonsense your music and voice, and that I still hope to tour Europe in a wreck of a car some day Pierre
Hey Chris, Hope everything's ok over Bloomington. Do you still coming coming over Europe? I recently get a huge list of independent gigz places all over the Old World, so if you want to spend a part of the next summer over here with my icelandic freak folk duo, tell me quick ! Pierre
