I met Norm after his last show at the Irvine Improv and asked him if he was going to the Billy Joe Shaver show that next Thursday but he said he was on the road.
I went to the Shaver show. First thing he said when he got on stage? "Hey, does anybody know if Norm's here? Norm, you out there? He interviewed me for two hours a couple weeks ago and did nothing but talk about himself."
I was talking to Shaver after the show and he was bummed Norm couldn't make it. Camaraderie!
