Northaunt started making ambient soundscapes in 1996. The music is mainly made from atmospheric drones, crisp field recordings (from nature here in Norway) and sometimes simple melodies (guitar, piano etc).Northaunt has a special focus on seclusion, melancholy and the relationship between man
and nature, 3 cd's has been released so far.

Northaunt has also played live from time to time. Usually this is small and atmospheric concerts in different cities around Europe. Live I create organic soundscapes by live looping and treating misc objects, voice and guitar with lots of effects + mixing sounds from a huge sound library I bring with me. Outside the past, created poverty and introduced sins unleashed hell and broken harmony, social disease and mental silence. A creation of minds insane. Sinful virtual life. No virtues to be found in the absence of truth, honor and glory. Paranoia is the game and their prayers are insane. Bleed forever divine creation! Between me and my dying dreams I wither away. My existence slowly fades. I die to hide. Feels like suicide – an absurd feeling that required my death. When will I decide for the last time?
