Introducing NORTHCOTE, the solo moniker of former Means and The Emerson Letters frontman Matthew Goud. Born and raised on the prairies, Matthew has spent the last number of years touring around North America and has refined his rootsy, solo material in order to unveil Northcote's debut EP - "Borrowed Chords, Tired Eyes" due out later next month. Northcote has paired up with the Toronto-based independent label Black Box, home to artists such as The Wooden Sky, Shad and more, to release this EP off-stage and online only.
Keep an eye out for upcoming tour dates, which will be announced in the coming weeks as well. Thanks for checking the profile out!
Hey man, I'm loving the new sound, it's exactly what I've been looking for these days. Hopefully I'll be able to catch your show with Dead Hands on Friday.
Matt, the song Worry is so good. It is my favourite one you have up, the lyrics, everything.. just so amazing. I have probably listened to it 100 times and it's still just as good. I love your stuff man, keep up the awesome work.
